After my 9th rewatch, I can confidently say this is an absolute masterpiece. Yes, it has flaws, yet it still manages to be one of the best K-dramas I've watched in the past 15 years. It makes you laugh, it makes you cry, it makes you relate, and it makes you dream. There's a veil of mystery that lasts until the very end.. how I like that. It's not just about the "hot kisses", which are memorable for sure, but oh there is so much more! How I wish I could unsee it and experience it for the first time all over again!
This comment section is so sad, really. People who don't know Park Shin Hye might really think that she's the worst actress by reading your comments. You haven't clearly watched her kdramas, if you just watched one of her first kdramas, Tree of Heaven, you'd see how talented she is and has always been. Her performance was so brillian there, she's so good in dramatic roles but also so versatile, she's great in comedies as well. She's a perfectionist and tries so hard to improve herself. She's acted brilliantly in horror movies and action movies and the only thing she still has to work on, really, is her expressions while she kisses actors, though she's improved a lot already.
I PRAY they’ll give her a good role, she could've given a lot to Memories of Alhambra, but she was treated as a secondary character. I have high hopes.
