did sk just make one of the best bls of 2025? yepppp loved how it didn't drag unnecessarily, it was short but didn't feel rushed, and the writing was very well done. they were able to establish strong dynamics between the characters from the start and i appreciated how, given the short runtime, they didn't focus too much on them being vampires, trying to fit classic drama or too much lore risking to throw off the balance and tone of it all. It had just the right amount of importance to develop the characters without overshadowing the rom-com core of the drama. And whoever casted the cast... may your pillow always be cold (or hot, if you're a freak like that) on both sides
Funny how i started watching this drama two years ago but stopped at 4 eps to the end (personal bad habit), then these days i accidentally ended up following most of the fencing matches at the olympics and decided to pick it up again. i'm happy i finally finished it but boy, the pain was real🥴
I haven't watched this yet but im curious to know if the relationship between so ssang and bong seon is purely platonic or if it could be read as romantic, since in the original events they were intimate. if anyone could tell me i'd really appreciate it !!
I agree, I feel like it felt a little unbalanced to me beacuse Mhok was always the one that had to adjust to Day and i feel like and there's never been a moment where his fears were properly explored. I would've loved a moment of confrontation where Day realizes he hurt his feelings and got to adjust himself to Mhok for once.

I'll be honest, the cinematography is the only thing i enjoyed about this drama..... I had a very hard time following the story for more than half of it and by ep 7/8 i still had not been able to connect to any of the characters. I get that the writer(/s?) wanted to keep everything in this misty, suspenseful, enigmatic mood but there has to be something to grasp onto or else you'll just end up wandering and wondering where the hell they're trying to take you. Which was a pity bc after finally getting to the bottom of all this mistery, the core idea was actually good and interesting, but they lost me in the way they chose to get to the end. Also, there were some plot holes/heavy plot armor moments that felt unrealistic to me, though they probably made some of these choices to keep the "theatrical" feel of the drama. Overall, i finished it because i was curious to see where the story would go and i was strangely drawn to the vibe of this drama but I was frustrated more than i was amazed by it.
this broke me. i love that despite being so heavy in topic the movie still feels delicate in the way it tells its story. maybe that's what makes it even sadder
This was so damn beautiful, i cried a lot watching it. "People may point fingers at my love, but at least I know how to love someone." Powerful, touching message. I wonder how it was received by the public back then. I hope it helped make a difference even if it was just for a few people.
ok so i want to write this comment hoping to spark some CIVIL and healthy discourse I started this show expecting a lot, given that i've been constantly reading high praises about this show. Now, maybe this is what ruined it for me, cause i really wanted to like it but was met with a jarringly mid-to-bad quality first episode... And i'm saying this with a heavy heart cause i genuinely wanted to like it, but it felt to me like the writing and the directing were nothing but weak, hindering even the actors' performance I have seen Moonlight Chicken and I absolutely loved gemini and fourth there, I thought they really brought their characters to life and they made me really FEEL something while watching them But here.... they were probably badly directed (my long lasting issue with majority of badly directed and edited bls.... why the hell don't they know how to set a good pacing during scenes, like they just don't CUT them and the actors just end up looking like they're waiting for their next line/move) But anyways, I am writing all this just to put out a different perspective and also because I am thinking about giving MSP another chance, since I have read that it gets better later on (I think I have watched up to ep 3), so if ever do that I will come back here and see if my opinion changes For sure now that i have lowered my expectations I might end up enjoying it more
