with all the hype this movie has, i thought the plot twist was something really mind-blowing, but in reality,…
and i can't believe that this old f*ck instead of hypnotizing mi do to forget about him and their relationship, he preferred to hypnotize himself and lose his memory to keep f*cking his daughter. no wonder men simp over this film so bad
with all the hype this movie has, i thought the plot twist was something really mind-blowing, but in reality, i guessed it the first time mi do appeared on screen. even when the truth was revealed, i thought there was something more... like ofc it's disgusting, but shocking? not really.
maybe i had my expectations too high, but it wasn't all that. now i can see why all the film bros love it tho; the violence, the almost torture p*rn, the objectification/possession/exploitation of women, the age gap, the [redacted]—this movie is like coke for them
i watched this bc i wanted to see muji hsu again, but tell me why he's in love with a child... like i knew there was going to be an age gap before watching, but i was expecting luhui to be a bit mature or at least not that childish; instead, he was throwing tantrums left and right, and ofc i don't blame him bc he IS a child
the thing is, why would an adult (who knows how old bc mind you, he is finishing his master's) be in love with a kid that looks and acts like one, and on top of that reject the opportunity to work in new york because suddenly that wasn't his dream... his dream was this infant he met a few weeks ago who he has no chemistry with, obviously!!!
this show is pretty unrealistic... i can forgive soccer inaccuracies and everything, but i draw the line at do ji not being all over yoo gang jae, like it doesn't make any sense imo.. that man is so HOT and such a himbo too 😋 do ji what are you doing!!
this is sooo cool i've never seen a bl so original and fresh, i'm loving the gen z vibes!! and consider me influenced bc now i want to get my nails done so badddd💅🏻
it's so funny how i started watching this solely bc of woongki, i knew he debuted so i thought it was safe from heartbreak... then i fell in love with kairi and suffered anyway 😭😭 he deserved sm better :(
and i know i shouldn't expect anything from these kinds of shows bc they always go for popularity over talent, but i couldn't help but have hope for it to be a little more fair, like we know whatever team jl was in, they were going to win, so why not be the best of each team or something… that way the lineup wasn't so predictable.. but whatever
still i don't regret watching it bc otherwise i wouldn't have met the talent that is kairi, but this is def my last one bc why even bother when every survival show is like this, no matter the format :/
this episode was the best christmas gift<3 the whole ep shao peng was HUNGRYYY and he looked so cute embarrassed for being jealous of his little mans cousin 😭😭
yes i think it was too short to make justice to the original, but i don't think it was thaaaat bad like some people say. i even found some things that were actually better than the original:
-arashi called rei a wet puppy instead of a drowning rat -arashi didn't have a "twin" that looked nothing like him -fuma fitted way better the role of a businessman, prapai looked like a kid in a suit -even though i love prapai, i liked that fuma wasn't a stalker changing numbers to talk to kai and instead he went to talk to him in person -they got rid of the infamous rain kidnapping picture
and in defense of my boy rei, i have to say rain was originally dumb, and yknow jdramas tend to be over the top, so i wasn't at all surprised by how stupid rei was; actually, i expected him to be like this and even thought he was endearing
obviously the original was way better; by no means am i saying it's even close, but it's not really fair to compare an 8-episode (25min each) drama with a 13-episode (45min each) one, is it. still, i enjoyed it while it lasted, and the actors did what they could with the time they had. and call me crazy, but i think they did resemble the original actors (except fuma lol but he was cute too <3)
watching cause it’s BL 😂 we are allowed to dislike tropes and still watch the show
girl nobody's saying you are not allowed to do that; ofc you can watch whatever you want, but there's so much bl out there? why waste your time on one with a plot you dislike to begin with AND come here to complain about it when you surprisingly aren't enjoying the series that has the trope that you specifically don't like??? make it make sense 🙏🏻
someone help me understand... if you don't like dramas with ai/robots WHY are you even watching 😭 i get wanting to share your opinions and discuss, but if you knowww you don't like the theme the series is based on, why even bother watching it in the first place and coming here to complain and lower the score 💀 just watch another thing jeez
they were sick for this... i could tell he was going to die in ep 3 and was so happy to be proven wrong with the cute ending of that episode... just to be shattered to pieces with the continuation in ep 4 😭 i KNEW it was coming, but i wasn't ready at all. still, it's the best story so far, devastating but beautiful regardless. i hope the following stories are just as good but a little happier... for the sake of my mental health 😁
1. a violent psychopath
2. an evil psychopath
3. a caring, loving, sweet straightforward man
umm decisions decisions??????
