Bad idea for me. Rather they do their own thing. If it's their own thing carries more value like in this drama. ALSB then should be left alone, would hate it in reverse if HYT was lead and SY replaced in a movie version, id refuse to watch it

HYT female lead from Go Go Squid 1 was replaced in #2. Odd for me

I love how even after the drama has concluded that big media outlets and critics are still praising this dramas success. Think they are sending a big time message to Lin Yi and Shen Yue to get another drama going. I agree with them

This drama has broke the 1 billion views. Sorry douban haters, your votes don't make the network's their money. FYI it's these actors & actresses with their brilliance to keep viewers tuned in.

No. This is stupid. Shen Yue is such a cutie she would of looked stunning at these award nights. All the posts I am seeing on Weibo is about her popularity increase especially in the rankings and the network's extremely pleased with the dramas success with high heat index scores and mass subscriptions along with Lin Yi bringing in plenty of money

I pray I'm not getting annoying on this page. Haven't watched an episode yet but so keen once schedules frees up to start. The ratings going down, I don't believe this is reliable. Sometimes I wonder why they allow being to rate this early on. My friends who are watching it are loving it. Is this really unreliable or people deliberately doing this or both?

I have seen a few articles from Tencent expressing how pleased they are with the success of the show. Heat Index reflected the popularity of the show from start to finish. They also added about One Week Friends film how popular it also was being on the same network.

Clearly this show has made the network alot of money when garnering that level of popularity and most important subscriptions. If the haters on here thought downscoring impacted the shows success I'm sorry but not the case. The network's which is the only reviews that count as they air the shows pretty much say this is an A+. They will be pushing for more projects between these two in the future which we all hope is the case

Nice try trolls and haters, networks only care of how much money you bring in. Douban or MDL doesn't pay Tencent or Viki, subscriptions do

Hello Bai Lu fans. Forgive me for doing this. I do want to watch this drama however for me it needs to wait. Time just very scarce with kids, work and already watching a few dramas I want to finish however I do intend to watch when schedule clears up.

Please provide feedback.How is this drama trending & how does it compare to Bai Lu previous Wuxia dramas? Also feedback on the male lead & holding up to some of BL past male leads? When I saw the trailer I said this is a cute couple

I think fans of Lin Yi and Shen Yue should be very pleased on how they have executed this drama. I was reading a review on these two which I completely agree. In time I think both will be remembered for giving us fantastic dramas.
Angels Fall Sometimes and A Love So Beautiful such iconic dramas and can very well see why their fans love them as we should.

I think it's really a bonus for the fans that these two really enjoy working together as have had previous collaborations and have full intentions to continue to do further projects together. I think the winners are the fans. I know people annoyed about ratings but as previous comments on here, ignore and reflect on the success because plenty other forums giving this drama outstanding reviews. Final say is I pray these two get announced for a new drama together in 2025

Douban ratings count for nothing. Haters are everywhere trying to downrate actors and actresses. We see this all the time. If Zhao Lusi, Bai Lu, Xu Kai where all dependant on excellent douban scores all would be out of a job because trolls and haters always score their dramas badly and if you checkout their dramas, bad scores on douban. One thing haters cannot infiltrate is the Heat Index and viewership, haters cannot go on switch off everyone's phone and television set stopping people from watching & this is where these stars make their networks the money. Proof well over 578 million views is a stat I saw recently.

I know when some of my favorite actors and actresses are on the decline, very obvious. Is this the case for Dylan Wang & Tian Xiwei? No
chance. These are two of the best actors globally going around. People attend their live performances and concerts aswell. Proof how brilliant both are? Well check out the Tencent awards only a week ago. Maoyan recently published Dylan Wang increased popularity so many forums giving this drama excellent hype.

Last thing I will write I respect opinions of all, hey I have disliked dramas others have enjoyed. It happens. Final advice is enjoy the drama because it is fantastic and ignore the outside noise because that's all it is.
