This is my favorite series from China and no one ever talks about it ! Thank you soooooo much ! Yeah the plotholes are something, especially in The Lost Tomb 2 lmao but once you get used to it you can actually focus on all the good stuff and there is so much more good stuff : HUGE amount of set locations, peak bromance between many leads ( Wuxie x Licu, Wuxie x Qiling ( TLT2 got me wheezing more than 100 times ) ), and overall an interesting plot that doesn't get you bored : ain't that what we are asking for ?
This drama made my Summer 2019 along with The Untamed. SOooooOOoo many set locations I still wonder how they have the money for all of this. It's the same in Tomb of the sea and I love it !

I think that the lack of quality is due to set locations that don't change from a BL to another, and the fact that the plot only develops their relationship instead of the characters as a whole. Therefore it goes all over the place and even the actors don't understand what they are supposed to portray anymore. Especially when they became a couple like wtf

IT WAS SO BAD - little to no character development - a plot that makes no sense -irrealistic relationships especially HOW did Saifah and Zon leave the ennemy phase ?? - worst editing ever - WHY so many side couples ? Totally useless, and soooo rushed - promotes or doesn't even adress the issue of rape culture or at least sexual assaults Don't waste your time watching this. Some of the episodes are just Zee and Saint banging. Saifah Zon was the reason I watched it though, but only the part when they start to get close because before that, it's just a total mess.

That's actually my point haha. And i thought that Everybody was a good performance, ONF are amazing performers but lacking a meaning and coherence with the song choice. Anyway idk let's see what happens lol
The Boyz or Pentagon will probably win. Oneus, TOO or ONF are those that would probably be eliminated. Only after the 90 second perf, I can feel that those 3 groups are made for a more specific audience compared to Very very or Golcha, Pentagon and TBZ The worst thing is that I stan those 7 groups lol
I've stopped at the first half of the first episode because I was literally bored. Might start it again someday if I see some interesting edits on YT but so far that's not it for me.
