I think the problem with it is at least for me is that always saying yes to people can sometimes hurt their feelings…
TK seemed smart enough in the last episode to understand that this "being nice without really caring" is a problem. And he seems self-aware enough to ask a lot of questions if he needs to.
Like I always say: if you don't like it, you're not required to watch it. I like his extreme awkwardness. Obviously…
Sorry that pushed your button. But at this point there are about a billion of these programs available to watch. Life is short. If you're not into a particular show there's nothing wrong with that. Watch another one instead. Or don't.
But the original comment said: "This episode was much more interesting than the previous two, but if it weren't listed on World of BL, I would forget this series exists. I don't think it's horrible, it just seems pointless and boring, and overly affected.
I don't feel any chemistry between the main pair at all, and I don't even get why everyone wants them to be together. It feels like the reason is "because they're the main pair." BL is starting to feel like a sporting event - you go, you cheer for the team you're supposed to like, you go home. Rinse and repeat."
To me that indicates the OP didn't have an interest in this show. Not that anyone needs permission from me or anyone else, but sometimes it's good to get a reminder that you don't have to watch if you aren't enjoying the show. I've started watching more than a few of these shows that I just didn't like for one reason or another. I was happy to move on to something else. I may have questioned a story or chemistry of a few shows from time to time, but for the most part if I don't like a show I move on to another.
I'm still not getting why everyone likes this so much. This episode was much more interesting than the previous…

It makes me teary to think that Keptawan who was raised in the countryside and probably hasn't had much exposure…
it's amazing that Oak just now turned 18. As much as I love his roles for this little company he deserves wider exposure. I love this company because it's clearly being produced by gay men mainly for a gay audience not for teenage girls. The sensibility is just different from the big glossy BL series.

yes, I saw the link in your other post in this thread. I think the subs are not in that scene because that scene didn't end up on YT.
With respect to NightTime, the whole premise of the story was implausible - boy shoots boy, boy tries to atone by taking care of boy who doesn't want anything to do with him... I did enjoy the series and the bashful acting was perfectly on point.

I loved My Friendship. There's a teaser for "My Friendship 2" on their YT page from a year ago but it doesn't appear to have ever been released. I think Bank just freaked out as the whole drag thing was too much for him to deal with. They're supposed to be something like 16, right? So I can see all of that happening as well as his guilt in the end. The YT version mentions that they had to cut the more explicit scene due to YT's censors. So I am interested to see the full version. I am a bit obsessed with Wayu Films. I loved NightTime even with it's implausibility. I think Oak does an amazing job in all of these productions.
I watched this with no expectations. Actually I watched the first couple of minutes and turned it off because it felt so raw. But I am glad I came back to it and gave it another chance. It is not a big, glitzy production. It's a quiet, short story that is made with a lot of heart and no small amount of talent. I've become somewhat obsessed with this production company. It's amazing what they've been able to do on a shoestring with real talent. Oak is nothing short of amazing. All of his characters are human and totally believable - even if Keptawan is a little bit over the top. His chemistry with Mon is undeniable. You can tell they're good friends IRL. The story is very simple, but totally charming. The actors are all very natural and work well together. Ultimately it leaves you wanting more, which is certainly a good thing. So many BL series are bogged down and repetitive. Everything here is very economical. Certainly it's not perfect but it's still pretty awesome.
And Meen's never been to Duean's room in 2 years? I thought that whole thing was ridiculous too. But there was a lot that didn't make sense in this story
Meh. For me this is one of those series that included some great elements and possibilities, almost all of which…
obviously I enjoyed it more than you, but you're right about a lot of it. 2 years later and they haven't done it? Pi freaks out about Mork stripping him? Seriously?
I don't know, throughout this whole series I've felt that Mork is too obsessed and I can't get over it. His behavior…
I could not agree more! And the way he man-handles him and looms over him at times is also a problem. It's the one element to the show that has concerned me the most.
now that things are finally moving it's too bad there are only 2 eps left. Duean's switch in feelings for Meen is kind of fascinating. So the preview for next week looks sad. But I'm sure everything will work in out the end
I really like that the story is moving along. I don't know what I'm going to do when the free YT episodes are over
