I'm struggling at the same exact point. They are communicating so badly that I sometimes wonder if they speak…
@beesknees It finally picked up a bit for me around the 20th episode. I was still taking breaks after each episode, I was frankly bored with the business plotline. Several reviewers mentioned the best is from episode 30 on, I would agree with that.
Ep 31 to the end + special episode are full of sweetness. But even before ep 31, I didn't see inappropriate actions…
Scaring her on the horse when it was her first time, struck me as mean. And I forget which episode, the one where she's interviewing his uncle? At the end Shi Yan walks in just as she's excited and happy about something, and he tells her to 'Behave yourself.' It hit me like a slap, she just looked so crestfallen after.
Help, I'm 12 episodes in and sad to find that this is dragging for me. I love the leads (I first saw Dylan Wang in Love Between Fairy and Devil, and Bai Lu in Til the End of the Moon), but I don't love them together--All I see is how mean he is to her and wonder why she keeps going back for more. I am really struggling to keep watching. Please tell me this gets better, the romance gets better, the plot picks up?
Does anyone know the name of the song playing in the 3rd Episode, about 25-26 minutes in? The FL is in her apartment in the evening, making a coffee and looking at her phone.
