thank god they changed the story from the pilot! i'm still cautious bc the person who did the trainee is doing this one and we all know how that turned out.
A few years ago, people said men and women can't be friends and I thought it was shallow. Now I see we haven't…
the source material is gay, so it's completely understandable that a group of people who are already underrepresented in media (and when they are represented they are demonized and stigmatized in said media) are upset that yet again they are being erased from their own stories. comparing homosexuality and bestiality is incredibly harmful, and you should examine your blatant homophobia and why you think it's okay to make that comparison.
not to take on a man's side but i honestly do feel bad for the husband. initially i hoped he was also gay and that they had entered into a lavender marriage. but as the drama goes on obvi that's the case. it seems like he at one point was genuinely in love her, and if not in love, he for sure saw that they could be good partners and form a happy family. now he just seems so dejected with how his life turned out.
especially considering how he reacted to itsuki when he saw her earrings. you wouldn't react that way unless you felt like someone was encroaching on your territory. Maybe he felt that way because he saw that the house was clean and that meant tsuki and fuyu didn't need him. or maybe he felt that way because at one point, maybe even currently, he loved her and he finally met the person who in his mind prevented fuyu from loving him back.
I love fuyu and I'm routing for her and itsuki (obviously) but I also wish we could also see him have a happy ending too. and some people might say that he's a bad person for abandoning tsuki for a week but you have to keep in mind that the little we saw of their home life in ep 3 was what he's been dealing with for years. I just hope that however this end, he still gets to raise tsuki cause he clearly loves her and cherishes her.
I'm rewatching the episodes on GagaOOLala and I just noticed something. In the introduction email that Fuyu sends in the first episode, she uses a cropped picture of her and Itsuki. Why would she use a 5 year old picture for her profile if it wasn't to antagonize Itsuki? Fuyu really had everything set up for her revenge and then she immediately folds the second she gets there.
Thank you soo much for this, you putting notes next to the ones which are not worth watching make it so much easier…
Yay! I'm glad my list helps. I just kept getting frustrated because I'd watch movies or dramas expecting gl and it would be the bare minimum or it would turn out to be sismance.

FYI if you put on the auto generated japanese subtitles and then translate those, it actually makes for pretty decent subtitles.
