In Attack On! Princess, the FL and her witch tribe were all killed because of the power that they held. The ML's brother, the Emperor was behind the extermination.

If Mu Yao's investigation is successful, then Hua Qiao and her Father's role will be revealed. Her Father was beheaded and Hua Qiao was exiled. Can the Lord ZXW still take Hua Qiao as a wife or concubine? Can he pardon her or is she stained forever to be exiled as a slave to a commoner. If true then the body guard looks better as some sort of end game.
