Not every Romance has to follow the same formula. This one's a slow burn. Just feel it ;) and there's still 6 more episodes. a lot can happen in those 6 hours for a Kdrama.

This show makes me so happy. The fight scene that started off ep.9... are you kidding me?? I grew up as a huge fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Till this day, Buffy has been THAT hero for me. She wasn't that stereotypical "strong female character", she wasn't manish and muscular, with hard eyes and a chip on her shoulder. She felt relatable, but with just enough superhero that it didn't make her feel alien, and she was surrounded by men who not only accepted her strength, but were attracted to it. Do Bong Soon is such a beautiful character, and she's so well intentioned, and INTERESTING, and complicated. She's so cute, and "normal" and she's got crushes, and a crazy embarrassing mom. But she's still such a Hero! She brings back all those same feelings. Ah that fight scene was perfect T-T. And the way Min Hyeok looks at her.... since ep.1... goddamit, it's the sweetest! And he thinks she's sexy :P Do Bong Soon is definitely up there, with Buffy, for me. Just one flaw: Buffy had 7 seasons, and Do Bong Soon has only 16 episodes. :((( it's so sad!

In conclusion, I'M OBSESSED WITH THIS SHOW.

obviously i hope that it is the case, because that would be very cool and smart storytelling-wise.

some people, including me, feel that Gook Doo might be. some hints: he's always had a girlfriend (he didn't get the chance to question his sexuality, or maybe he did so always had a girlfriend as a defense mechanism), he put the moves on Min Hyeok when he was drunk, he didn't feel sad when he and his girlfriend broke up (which obviously can be attributed to the fact that he either had already started having feelings for Bong Soon, AND/OR that hes really gay but doesn't realize yet). When they show him being jealous of Min Hyeok and Bong Soon, you gotta question who hes actually jealous of... Bong Soon or Min Hyeok? Also his macho man character portrayal and his views on women are pretty suspicious; there's definitely a bit of a disconnect there. In a drama as well written as this (my opinion) it's the little things and the character progression that are the real stories they're telling. :P Did you notice any of that?

how far have you gotten? I feel like they are hinting at someone else being gay/bisexual. its pretty subtle... but still, we're only half way of the show.
