It was very difficult to watch the second half of this movie. I literally couldn't see anything through the constant tears. To anyone about to watch this movie, make sure to keep a newly opened tissue box with u.

Also, on to more serious note, and aside from the adorable couple. I was ultimately satisfied with the drama, but a few thoughts did come to mind while watching the last two episodes.

First. I'm not sure, cause it wasn't like totally clear, but I'm glad that they at least addressed the domestic abuse towards the father, since it was a major issue with a lot of people. I wish they had made it MORE clear that she didn't hit him, and I'm glad that the mother's character felt a tiny bit redeemed in that she does actually love her husband. They were cute in the end.

Second. I wasn't completely satisfied with the way that killer dude was caught. It felt a little bit anti-climactic. Honestly I wish she got in a couple punches at least... although he really wouldn't have fought back so I get why she just trapped him instead. But her fighting sequence in episode 9 was just so good, I wish that she had another one here too. He deserved a few bruises at least!

Third. I liked were the gang's and high-schooler's story ended up in the last two episodes. Obviously, there was way too much unnecessary shit in the previous few episodes, but in the end, I understood, partly, why they were characters in this show, you know? It was especially cute at the end when the gang guys were babysitting LOL.

It ended in a way that they could definitely make a followup movie or drama special. They could give us a bit more on Bong Soon's behind the scenes operation, the high-schooler's and gangsters as her workers, how will they raise a pair of baby Bong Soons, and all that. I wish we saw the grandma in the last episode, I liked her! I hope they do give us more, even though it feels like very wishful thinking. My biggest concern with the show was that I NEED MORE AMHxDBS!!!!!! What do I do now?

I didn't get enough of DBS & AMH. They are absolutely my favorite couple! Can we please get more of these two actors? They are just way too good together.
I'm so sad this is over! Give me the fillers, give me the crime, I'll take the gangsters and ahjussis and all, just as long as I get some more of Mr. and Mrs. Ahn Min Hyeok!!!!!!
Ah, I already miss them...

I've watched Park Bo Young's other works before SWDBS, but I'm completely hooked with her now. I can't believe she's been in the entertainment industry for 10 years! I wish she hadn't taken such a long break. Her filmography is too short! :( I wanna see more of her! Mehhhhh

After the messes of High Society and Hwarang, this was the Park Hyung Sik drama I was waiting for. While it's…
I heart want more Park Bo young and Park Hyung Shik. I want them to do another drama together in the near future. Something completely different, more melodrama. Ahhhh I can't get enough of them together, they have such good chemistry.

Regarding that song we heard at end of ep 13 that Park Hyung Sik was singing...i was looking for it...found this…
was there any news of whether Park Bo Young is doing anything for the OST? she's done one song, at least, for all her other major roles, no? I couldn't find anything myself if she was.

Hiiiii :D
So I've been thinking about this too for a while, i don't think the writers could be that stupid to just make mistakes like that. Maybe they just didn't explain it properly, but I'm wondering if maybe the fact that all the other times Bong Soon "hit an innocent" she actually waited for other people to throw the first punch, makes a difference? This is the only time that I could think of, please correct me if I'm wrong, where she gave someone a physical injury due to her powers, where the other person didn't illicit a defensive response. And he literally was a completely innocent bystander, who got hurt because of lack of judgement from Bong Soon, who was understandably, but inexcusably, distraught that her best friend could die.

BTW, this could also explain her lack of thought process and her going in seemingly without a plan. It's a basic instinct called the Fight or Flight response, which bypasses our rational mind, where our more well thought out beliefs exist, and move us into attack mode. Our sight sharpens, impulses quicken, perception of pain diminishes, we become prepared—physically and psychologically—for fight or flight. We scan and search our environment, "looking for the enemy." We may overreact to the slightest comment. Our fear is exaggerated, and thinking is distorted. We see everything through the filter of possible danger. So her first reaction is to go in alone because all her primitive instincts tell her that it's the only way to minimize the damage that could occur to her kidnapped friend, and also honeyCEO. At least that's how I'm rationalizing all that. :P

Going back to her powers: The secretary came at Bong Soon to knock her down right? Chicken fight? That's defense no? The arm wrestling with CEO, she waited for him to use all his strength. The gangster guys always threw the first punch, and so did the kids. When she knocked down Gook Doo, it was to help the ajjussi guy. The other times she used her powers didn't result in physical harm (like the desk thing with the other ajjussi guy). Her mom actually used her powers to rob people and ended up seriously hurting them right? I don't remember for sure, that was episode 1. I'm too lazy to check even though it's probably in the first 10 minutes of the show.

Did that help at all? Sorry for the long ass post though :( I have a psych exam coming up on Monday so im over-analyzing everything :P ahahahaha

Disclaimer: Just a thought after seeing this comment section these past few weeks. Please take this with a grain of salt and an open cranium. And if you, by some miracle, happen to find a way to be offended by this post, please don't. Cause you would be working way to hard to do so, and I don't think you'll be getting paid for your overtime.*

It feels like while a show is still airing, people tend to make prejudgments, maybe because between episodes there's too much time to form your own story in your head. It happens because our brains are naturally trained to fill in the missing information. Sometimes, what we see isn't exactly the same as the information that reaches our eye. In general terms, every sensory and even motor function goes through several processing centers before there's a reaction. So there's a possibility that some "blanks have been filled" to get a smoother reaction.

Some people like the crime-drama aspect of this show more than the romcom, and vise-versa. When a story has both, but you don't know exactly why they exist together (because a show hasn't finished telling it's story) your brain wants to get rid of the information it THINKS is unnecessary, and fill in the blanks with what YOU think makes sense.

So before I end up writing a thesis on this, what I'm saying is, everyone has different opinions, and i understand and accept yours. Since we're all allowed to share our opinions, MY opinion is that maybe you should give the show a chance because you don't have all of the information yet. But who knows, you might end up really regretting finishing it or you might end up missing out on what turns out to be a really good story if you drop it. I can't tell you because I don't know all the information yet. That part is up to your own judgement. But instead of hating on other people and getting into "pointless" (and I use that term very loosely) arguments, maybe accepting the fact that someone else's brain works different from yours would be more beneficial to your health. Stress and agitation are very commonly the cause of a lot of primary disease processes.

PS: IT'S FRIDAY MOFOS, and I'm so excited to see what my DBS and AMH have been up toooo :P hehehehe
Here's hoping for some kisses!
