I'm actually not a fan of the Thanu/Phai pairing at all, I thought Phai would be paired with his cute friend, I've never been a fan of the love at first sight trope, like the don't know Anything about each other?? It's boring to me
I would have rather they had given Wayu an Actual love interest that's not just comedic relief like Koh /Jack, like someone that he actually had chemistry with and could help him move on from his heartbreak
On a positive note, I'm really proud of Bas, Kim and Copter's acting! They've improved So Much since 2moons!! They're really carrying this series for me
I was a huge fan of the Hikaru no Go anime and manga back in 2004/2005 when I was a young teen and I followed…
Also the (b)romance between Shi Guang and Yu Liang makes me giddy, like am I the only one that thinks Yu Liang looks at Shi Guang like he hung the moon and stars in the sky just for him cause...

When Sai dissapeared in the original series, I remember I bawled my eyes out. I thought I wouldn't cry since I already knew it was going to happen, but I still cried so much because of how the series led up to the event TT_TT
I was a huge fan of the Hikaru no Go anime and manga back in 2004/2005 when I was a young teen and I followed the manga all the way until completion I'm so happy to be able to say that this is an amazing adaptation of the original work. It keeps everything that I loved about the original, while also adding a lot of development to characters and relationships that made it even more enjoyable to watch and made me love the characters more (for example the friendship between Shi Guang and Hong He was one of my favorite parts of the series)
Okay real talk. Is this worth watching because I'm getting "I LOVED IT" or "this was bad"? Any neutral, objective…
Honestly it wasn't great but it wasn't terrible either, the story kind of meanders around and the dialogue can be melodramatic and or weird, the characters themselves are endearing though imo The episodes are only 15m long so it's easy to binge, if you're bored and just want to watch something silly, cute and light then this does the job, but it's definitely nothing to write home about
I was really amazed and pleasantly surprised by the first episode of ‘Love By Chance’! Pete is super adorable…
that dude's acting was so extra, maybe it was the other actor's good performances that make his seem even worse by comparison but I couldn't help but cringe whenever he was on screen (and that laugh...)
It's fitting that the author's name is BitterSweet cause that's exactly how I'm feeling right now, I love this series and these characters so much and I loved following it week by week but I'm so sad to see it come to an end. This episode was more emotional than I thought it was gonna be for me. I couldn't stop myself from crying during the bridge scene with Arthit's gift, it was so touching and such a beautiful way to represent their reconciliation and their new future together. I also couldn't stop crying once the credits rolled because I knew it was probably going to be the last (in terms of new content) that I would see of these characters Thank you to the author, the director, the production team and the actors for bringing us such a wonderful story, Kong and Arthit never failed to bring warmth to my heart and a smile to my face Thank you to Krist and Singto especially for bringing these characters to life and making them their own (sidenote but did anyone else notice moments in ep 13 where Krist's personality peeked through his portrayal of Arthit) I would 100% support a continuation of this series, I'd love to see more development for the other couples as well I'd love to see Singto and Krist act in a series together again Regardless, I've become a huge fan of them both and I wish them the best and will continue to support them in their careers
I disagree with people saying that the Korean version is better, I think they only think that cause they watched it first
The Chinese version is amazing, the cinematography is undeniably better and I think the main actress is better, her movements, actions and way of speaking all convey the old lady inside
I also think this version has more heart
For people wondering which version they should watch I 100% recommend the Chinese version
