It's bad that the character I care most about in this drama is Tae Seo, right? And, apparently I'm the only person…
I can't deal with him constantly listening to what the evil guy says and then being surprised when he lies once again. I liked him before, but I find him incredibly weak for the most part. I hope he grows up because I don't actually want to dislike the guy.
Yeah Suzy has improved. I am actually surprised at the way they are transitioning Kang chi's heart from chung…
They are doing a great job with YW/KC. They are friends first and it's moving along into romance. I was also shipping KC/CJ for awhile, but YW/KC just fit so perfectly together. Their easy going and natural chemistry is so fun to watch.
Jae Hee is pretty mild as far as Kdrama villains go. She wasn't right in some of the things she did, but she wasn't the most terrible person alive. You could see why she was so warped and I seriously never got the feeling she was totally evil. I just couldn't hate her as much as some people.
As for your #1. I love bad daddy. I found him to be the most interesting character in City Hunter. Without him the drama wouldn't have been nearly as good. Again, another character warped by circumstances and not just being evil for the sake of it.
For me Kim Bong Goo from The King 2 Hearts as others have mentioned. Hated that guy. Or Mi Sook from Brilliant Legacy. I don't think a character has ever made me rage as much as she did.
lol @ Ji Hyun Woo's kissing talent. Yes, he's pretty great at that. I'l agree completely with your #1 choice. A lot of people are multi-talented, but not many are as successful as he is at doing nearly everything. Too bad he can't do them all at the same time. I miss MC Seunggi.
He finally knows she a girl and remembers her! KC/YW are so cute together. I stopped shipping KC/CJ now... I'm kind of upset their growth is going to be interrupted by saving CJ even though she obviously needs saving.
Ok. My guess…Kang Chi is stubborn and unyielding. Without a trauma, he is not likely to change his mind and…
We have to remember this is 24 episodes so that means there are 16 more episodes to go. Taking into account regular 16 episode romantic relationship developments, it could be awhile before they actually fall in love. At least they are on the right track now that they are basically living with each other. First thing is they need to get rid of the she's a guy misunderstanding!
I could actually see how he could fall for YW even without CJ doing something bad to him. YW is different from most people he knows. She also is one who protects him, while he's always been the protector of everyone else. She understands and accepts his gumiho half as well.
Unless things change YW will win since she's the whole destined partner thing.
That bracelet was not supposed to be important after he turned 20 because anyways he would be a human by then.…
The thing with CJ is while she might love KC, I don't think she loves him enough to put her family ahead of him. Actually we already know she doesn't. If he's not someone that can help her regain her standing in society she's not going to be with him. CJ and KC will always be important to each other, but they aren't really destined to be with each other. I do ship it because they do have great chemistry, but there aren't many ways they'd actually work out in the end.
But I want to like YW/KC because they love each other, not because CJ/KC won't work out. :) So the writers really need to get moving on the loveline for them.
I thinking almost everyone is shipping Chung Jo and Kangchi right now. Though I'm equally loving seeing Gon and Kangchi argue over everything. Suzy is doing all right, but I do think everyone is outshining her (and out acting her) so her character seems kind of pointless right now. Hopefully that will change soon.... Still things are getting good now!
So disappointing. I was looking forward to this drama. Everybody was talking about how this. But it really isn't…
There's no reason to compare JOJ and this. They are nothing alike. I don't know why JOJ fans constantly try to do that... it's not like fans of GFB are going to go watch the drama you are promoting while you bad mouth what they are enjoying. Have fun watching what you like though.
Thanks for the recap. :) I agree Suzy is the weak link here, but I'm going to give her a chance. She needs to up her game if she wants people so actually ship her with KC though. Lee Yoobi is blowing her out of the water so far... Poor Kangchi. So sad he can't have a real family.
Why is everyone saying Lee Yeonhee's acting sucks? I think she improved A LOT from "Ghost" which she…
She only got praise because she didn't totally suck tbh. Standards were very low. I'm glad she's gone too. Don't like the character, don't dislike the actress but I have no real desire to see her act again.

Her acting was fine to start with. I think the writing wasn't good in the 2nd half of the 2nd episode (when THAT happened) and LYH isn't good enough to make up for it. A better actress possible could have. Like Jung Hye Young gave a lot of nuance to her character as the head ginseng. She did bad things, but you could tell she wasn't doing it out of malice. LYH was very hot and cold as SH. She was totally in love with WR and then she hated his guys. It was just weird...
I'm Afraid ... afraid because there are 24 épisodes, and with the first and second episode... that will be difficult…
Honestly I'd be shocked if they can't make a 22 episodes story better than an under developed and rushed 2 episode story in terms of romantic and character development. The 2nd episode was especially bad in the treatment of Seo Hwa's character and her nonsensical actions.
I still don't get or like Seo Hwa. I'm seriously glad her part of the story is done sorry to say. Seunggi and Suzy are really adorable as always. I can't wait to see what's going to happen. I'm happy for the slowed down and slightly more light hearted pace. Well, as light hearted as your adopted mom trying to murder you can be..
Whaaaat??? I seriously don't see how Hee Jin is stupid in any way. Even Boong Do tells her she's not when she tries to act like it. She never does anything stupid either. The time she's cried she didn't even know WHY she's crying so how can she think of a rational reason why she was crying... Wanting to constantly kiss her smoking hot man for made up reasons makes her the smartest heroine in kdrama.
