I just watched a korean drama called Nail Shop Paris, it wasn't super good, but I stilled liked it because of the actors.
How about High School Debut, it's kind of similar to Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu...and if you don't want to sub that one, how about I Give My First Love to You (Boku no Hatsukoi o Kimi ni Sasagu). They are both romance though...and I know you don't like romance that much, but I haven't watched too many Japanese movies. Hope I could help, and sorry if it didn't. :P

My favorite KPop band is Big Bang and my favorite JRock band is The GazettE. My two favorite genres of music is pop and heavy metal rock, so it's hard to pick jus one favorite band. :P

I have been watching movies lately. I just watched a Japanese movie called Kyo, Koi Wo Hajimemasu and a Korean movie called My P.S. Partner. Both I really liked c;

Well in high school volleyball there is 2 to 3 teams (JV2, JV, and Varsity) and each team gets harder to be on because the teams you play against are better. So it's not really "levels", but more like harder teams to play against. lol enough about volleyball though!!
Back to dramas!! Yes definitely watch it!! The drama was alright, it kind of reminded me of Hana Kimi (but just alittle). Then if you liked the drama, watch the special episodes, and then lastly the two movies. hahah
I accidentally watched the movies before the special and I was a bit confused. :P
So if you have a lot of time on your hands watch Nodame! But I don't want to force you or anything!! XD

Heartstrings, and Stars Falling From the Sky.
They both have really great actors and the plots are very interesting and loveable! I hope this helps. c;

I just finished watching Nodame Cantabile, and the two movies and two special episodes. lol
I really liked it, and Tamaki Hiroshi is a really great actor. The music in it was really amazing too. Have you seen it before? If you haven't you definitely should!! It's really fun to watch.
