Want to like this but i end up torturing my self.
I personally like Song Wei Long and Ju Jingyi as individual but this drama are not for it. I know this drama was on dungeon for three years, i waited for it since i love Xianxia, and i can tolerate bad visual, CGI, or anything but the sole problem are pace of plot since it was disjointed and the inconsistencies of main character especially Li Fei. I quite like the dynamic of Li Fei and Xi Yuan on episode 1-8 but the disaster starts of episode 9 but i was quite optimistic about this drama (yeah it was trap but sometimes i like to torture my self until ep 21). Li Fei characterization are too shallow and stupid, trust everything but Xi Yuan. Xi Yuan is really useless despite his brain and power which make me frustrated. For decreasing my anger issue with this drama, i dropped this.Was this review helpful to you?

Tragedy which everyone face their sins.
I actually watched at the time was released and rewatched more than 20 times until now. I even brought Minato Kanae book after watching this. The episode is only Five and it revolves around Emiri's friends who become witness of Emiri death and Emiri's mother Asako are do revenge to atone Emiri friends sins. Sae, Maki and Akiko are feeling guilty since Asako brought their mistakes but only Yuka is different she handled Asako with nonchalant since she is already damaged even before Emiri death. There is little plot twist that i really like since this drama handled it well without being forced and the ending was too perfect. All of the women who acting as main character are on point especially Ando Sakura and Ikewaki Chizuru. Koizumi Kyoko proves she is not just idol who cannot acts. Recommended to watch if you like Mystery and Thriller drama.Was this review helpful to you?

Successful Old Formula
Okay i was quite picky with K-drama and actually i make some draft of my review only to be deleted by system. So I made this review quite late. Personally I think Lim Jiyeon is sole key on this drama, her characters were quite remarkable for Shin Seori to Kang Dang Shim with completely different way of speaking and she always nailed since i watched her in High Society. The chemistry between Lim Jiyeon and Heo Namjun was quite okay for me even it not on the level with overload sparks and it feels minimal due the duration since they got 14 episodes. The emotion about Seori struggles are quite emotional.Heo Namjun as Cha Segye are quite call for current Male Lead of k-drama. Yeah Segye was quite red-flag boss in real life (when he sad, employees need to suffer to) but somehow get interested with Seori. The Romantic Comedy in this drama was quite practical and some of his speech were quite witty. Cha Segye secretary were quite talented for making impromptu comedy and the banter were quite fun to watch.
My cons about this drama was the ending was quite rushed and feels anticlimax about Mundo action. Mo Tae Hui acting stills need to be refined since most of her part was quite stiff.
Still deserve to be rewatched.

Underrated J-drama for me
I just happened to miss Takeuchi Yuko and rewatch Mukodono. The plot is about secret marriage between idol and common girl but the most interesting part was actually tell the story about Sakura's family. Sakura's first sister who divorced and had teenager boy, Sakura's second sister who had child out of wedlock despite her perfect acadamy and Sakura's third Sister who is radio PR manager and become a mistress to his boss and also help to keep Yuichiro's secret marriage. There is no back story about Yuichiro beside his manager and his boss. The things that i liked to rewatch are they are giving any relation to Sakura and Yuichiro relationship journey. Everyone in this drama seems so realistic. The music was quite good Hitoribocchi no Haburashi and Opening song by Matsutoya Yumi are quite perfect for this drama. I quite like Nagase Tomoya chemistry with everyone especially with Shinohara Ryoko even they are playing in-laws the teasing dynamic was fun to watch (add his manager as trio).For romance, it was quite acceptable for me but not on steamy one just very pure love.
No dragged or rushed part in this drama and i almost cried at last episode when i was watching this, even after more than 10 years i still like this drama. One of best classic j-drama for me.

When the supporting characters make you want to avoid this drama
I watched this because of Wang Churan and to be honest there is no romance chemistry between her and Tan Jianci but i quite enjoy their banter even they dragged their story for too long and decided to give the screentime to unnecessary characters especially Jung Cheng mother. The main couple should have more screentime since their story was quite left hanged due the unimportant characters. The plot has no innovative since it's from rom-con and i don't really care about bad AI editing for beginning of the drama. I quite enjoy the episode 1-12 but the dragged and unnecessary characters really kill my mood for watching this. They make Qian Fei character seems illogical person while he was told by premises as smart analyst (he was smart but the writing of scriptwriter was quite mess). Liu Yifei was quite okay but not memorable for Wang Churan character that i watch, she was in between bad character and good character. It was quite bitter for me since i quite enjoy Wang Churan drama but the supporting casts story was really letdown for this drama.Wont recommend and rewatch this except the main lead parts.

Wasted of stellar casts
I watched this drama because of Chen Duling, Ju Jingyi and Zeng Shunxi. Actually the CGI was good but i always have one common problem when it comes Guo Jing Ming drama: no plot substance in this drama. I feel they are too focused on second couple without giving strong background (i know second ML was a wooden doll) while the first couple are actually have good back story but they choose to minimize it. This is when you got 4 stellar casts but you always make imbalance plot about them. It make me realized i can't watch GJM drama even there is my favourite cast on it.
