Long Drama tends to be strict than Short Drama.

Princess called herself Beng Gong as I on her speech but Changyu mistook it as her actual name.

I think the underrated things of this drama were Tian Xiwei acting. She is Fan Chang Yu and nothing couldn't replace her. I quite like her emotion when she was devastated and ended up crying too.

If you look carefully when Fan Changyu dressed as general on the trailer, there is 3 of 4 Chang Yu's comrade and Mr Jin is included in these.

Yeah, she didn't leave Baxia castle or follow Su Yuan Qing based for all episode. Scriptwriter quite forget her. All of Baxia maiden have died on the flood except Yu Qian Qian. I think it safe to assumed she died since her presence was not essential anymore especially for Su Yuanqing which is unfortunate case.

I liked how this drama is not making the princess like usual spoiler brat in battlefield. She actually capable on her term (medicine) but the imperial etiquette indeed suffocating her. It was wise of her to bring her maiden into the battlefield. Hope we can see Princess X Chang Yu dynamic too.

If your complain applies to modern drama, i can agree with it. but this is ancient drama when Qian Qian obviously not have fighting skill like Chang Yu, she just want to save her son for psychotic son. She is doing what other usual woman in ancient do since she is weaker than Qi Min in every aspect, she need to endure some humiliation while you look for less obvious opportunities.

Both are creeps but the younger brother was quite more annoying even i enjoy the banter between Chang Yu and him.
