Well we all watch professional sports so I don't think you have to be a pro in order to comment on whether the casting looks like pro players. The ML might pass as a swimmer but in my opinion the FL does not look like a professional weightlifter.
Honestly, 7.9 is not bad. Also, there are dramas 8.5 that are not that great fo many people.
Ratings are always relative and 7.9 is actually terrible on MDL for K-drama standards. Anyways, it is still too soon and the ratings will likely even out, but if it stays at 7.9 then yeah, that is bad.
So sorry to hear that you couldn't stick with it. This is my favorite drama this year.
