I never said that those other things were not issues, did I? I don't think so. But the issue being discussed in this thread was of gender parity which is what I was speaking to in order to stay on point and keep the discussion relevant. But I understand why people pivot to other things and say things like .... "but but but what about that other thing, look at that, that's an issue don't look here look at the other thing". It's a cop out and I understand the need to deflect.

Your post was incredibly sad to read. To see a woman endorsing and advocating for roles defined by a heteronormative male dominated society where women are subservient to men was just painful to read. I acknowledge and respect your views because everyone is entitled to their views. But I sincerely pray that there aren't more people like you who think with this mentality and that people like you are few and far in between because God help us if it's not the case!

I think the creators were very clear that the story is set in fictional times in a fictional country that does not exist in our history or the maps. So any interpretation that the story is set in "medieval" times is just that ... a personal interpretation that is not necessarily rooted in facts or reality. But hold on just a second and can I just say ... WOW!!! So hoping to see some basic level of gender parity is now considered "woke shit"? WOW. Just wow!
