I think it make sense to judge Part 2 as a independent and separate body of work that would stand on it's own. Let us not let Part 2 affect what we like about Part 1. Even MDL has created a separate page for Part 2. So whatever it is that anyone hates about Part 2 - casting, story, writing, etc. let us judge it separately and independently.
