Agreed. No open endings or cliffhangers. They need to button up Part 1 at the end of episode 20 and make it self sufficient.

Yeah I agree. While I obviously prefer happy endings, I will take a sad ending over a open or ambiguous ending open for interpretation.

Yeah I think Mu Deok finally understands that she and her father were used and were just pawns in a larger more sinister game of chess. Now it's time for her to find out who manipulated and orchestrated this whole thing. She thinks it's just Jin Mu but clearly there are more players in this game.

Everybody saying that hong sister's written drama with the sad ending. Then i realize oh no.Not this time.
The only other Hong sisters drama I've watched is "Hotel del Luna" and while that one didn't have a sad ending, it did have an ending which was widely believed to be an open ending up for individual interpretation. Some people interpreted it to be happy and some interpreted it to be sad.
