I actually found out you could rate individual episodes too from this Bad Buddy MDL page. I think it was either a post from @deetsy or @BenedictTan who mentioned it so I rated individual episodes for BB. It's not clear if rating individual episodes has any bearing on the final overall MDL rating.

Oh no. That's sad to hear it has a low rating right now. I haven't rated it yet on MDL, I was going to wait until the series finishes airing. I have a lot of K-dramas to watch as well this month and the next so lots to watch and rate. Tee hee hee.

That's an interesting observation. The zits and the makeup or the lack thereof did not bother me at all.
I hear ya. Cakey faces with heavy makeup can be a huge turn off.
