When I said Pran was the "dominant" one in the relationship, I NEVER meant physical dominance. And I explained through examples of why I felt Pran was the alpha in the relationship. I did perceive Pran as the more dominant one. He always seemed to dictate the course of their relationship and Pat was the one courting Pran. Pat always deferred to Pran. So yeah, I always saw Pran as the Alpha in that relationship.
I feel like there were a lot of occasions and hints, both covert and overt, that suggest that this relationship was very much on Pran's terms and Pat went along and just fell in line.
It is never explicitly mentioned whose idea was it to fake breakup, but there are hints that suggest that it was Pran who came up with the idea and convinced Pat likely against his wishes to go along. How do we know that? At the end of ep 11 when they are standing outside their houses, Pat cries and Pran does not. The explanation I read was because Pat did not like the idea and didn't want to breakup. He wanted his relationship to be out and didn't want Pran to be his dirty little secret. So Pat was disappointed with the decision, but went along because of Pran.
During their "bet" in Ep 6/7, it is Pat who gives up his pride and voluntarily loses the challenge. He explains what sort of a victory would it be if it comes at the expense of your lover losing? He didn't want that kind of hollow victory. Pran on the other hand does not give an inch. In fact he is so steadfast in winning the bet that he is willing to jeopardize the stage show.
During the final episode again Pran is the one who makes Pat pretend during the reunion that they are to remain aloof and not act like they are a couple, which Pat agrees to begrudgingly, again giving into Pran.
