I read somewhere that Nanon believes in and practices "Method acting" as his technique which I believe you have to totally immerse yourself as the character to understand and embody the characters inner motivations and emotions. Actors who practice method acting try not to break out of character even when they're not filming. This can affect a person's psyche and may result in difficulty in coming out of character. This would explain why Nanon had difficulty coming out of his previous character.
