I completely agree. 100%. Kieta Hatsukoi is one of my favorite J-BLs. This Thai adaptation does not capture the spirit or the essence of the original. What a let down.

I thought the first half was done well. There was a lot of psychological horror, mystery and intrigue in the first half, but they couldn't put the pieces together in the second half. Movie had promise but did not completely deliver.
