Drama-thons are the best! I was able to reel in my housemate to the addiction fairly easily. One of these days I'm going to get dear old mum to try an Asian drama. She has an aversion to subtitles, though, so it's a bit difficult -sigh- Sometimes I totally get that I came from her and other times I feel I have more in common with the petri dish I suspect I came from. Oh, mom<3

Thank you! It does sound amazing. I wish I would have gone with my gut and done it earlier, but oh well. Better later than never. And sometimes a little too passionate about food as my life-long roller coaster ride with weight will tell xD Thankfully I think I've finally developed a solid system of exercising enough that I can get away with indulging my passion and not blow up like a balloon.

But the ones who were hit seem to be doing relatively okay. Less than 10 deaths, last I heard, and it's pretty messy down there, lot of clean up ahead, but not too bad. Especially for a hurricane that decided to threaten on the anniversary of Katrina. Everybody was freaking out a bit.

Ah, I guess it's pretty interesting. Definitely not boring xD Perfect place for road-tripping. Traveling among states can sometimes be like traveling among different countries. Maybe it's a grass is always greener thing, but I always envied other countries and how ancient things were. Like in Europe, being in buildings that were as old as they were was just mind-blowing to me. Where in Asia have you been, btw? Actually, also Africa? Aha, I'm so curious |D

I'm not sure. That may have been the British title? It was focused on Kibworth. Yeah, history is quite grand<3

Hahaha, that's one way to do the rugrat thing xD And yeah, unfortunately that's how languages (and I guess a lot of things) are. Don't use them, you lose them. I'm not bilingual, nor ever been, but you'd think after 2 semesters of Spanish nearly every day in high school, I'd retain more than I do. But still so many times I sit in an authentic Mexican restaurant, stare at the words I know that I know somewhere deep inside, and finally give up and point aimlessly, hoping for the best. So sad.

Yes, thanks! We're totally fine, situated a couple of states well above hurricane country (these parts be tornado country). Actually we've been reaping the benefits of Isaac in the form of 2 full days of rain (hopefully more!). I think this is literally the second time I've seen rain in months. I went outside and just walked around in it getting gloriously soaked in this strange thing called rain.

Thanks for the request! I visited Greece a few years ago for a couple of days! It is indeed a beautiful country *__* And a block from where we stayed there was this awesome gyro place with the most heavenly gyros. I still remember them and drool from time to time XD

GASPING! I feel like it's so rare to meet another POI fan, even though I think it did really well!

This show totally blindsided me with how much I adore it. Jim Caviezel and his sometimes cheesy coolness and gaze of steel! Michael Emerson and his intelligent adorable-ness! Just the general awesome spine-tingling stuff! And! There's bromance. What more could a person want in a show, I mean really. I even named my smartphone Harold after my fave character |D My mom is super excited because she loves it too AND it premieres on her birthday. Watch party with birthday cake at mom's place!

Me too! I'm like a sponge with accents. It only took a day being in London and I had to concentrate to keep talking in an American accent when ordering breakfast and not sound like an idiotic American trying to sound British. A little while in the southern States and I start saying "ain't" and "windows" become "winders".

Oh, wow, that sounds rather exciting! (at least to a person stuck in middle America her whole life :P) Do you speak Dutch as well?

Much nodding. He's had a lot of the wind taken out of his sails, but he needs to keep shaking it off and definitely let some of Seungri's firecracker ambition rub off on him.

I think it was called Michael Wood's England? Something like that. It was really interesting. Sort of an overview history of England from the common people's point of view rather than the royals, which is all I'd ever really heard about.

LOL, yeah, high danger in 2D, perfectly coifed form. Hahaha, those talks sound like fun. I chuckle when I think of mothering future children because they're going to love-hate me so much xD My children will be experts in the art of eye-rolling and the articulation of the whiny "moooom"<3

You're gonna do awesome!! Bringing back so many feelings of when my chin would tremble, I'd dramatically toss all my books, and drown myself in dr. pepper, cheetos, and tv. And then shockingly get good grades some magical way, so you'll do awesome! Because of the magical way! Or something! Or better yet don't listen to my insane words and just be your calm, smart self and you'll do good! When I go back to school it's going to be a whole different experience. Probably be dramatically tossing ingredients Baker King style.

Hello!! :D And yes, ohmygoodness, want Merlin to finally get the credit he so deserves ;_; Every time I just KNOW Arthur is going to find out, the writers are all "oop, nope, just kidding 8D". Arrghh xD

Oh man, a Daesung solo *__* (that is, a proper go at it, yes. And lol, I just realized, whether it's because of the way you word things or the fact that I watched a 4 hour British documentary, in my head I've been reading your comments and replying in a very British accent |D ) Especially after hearing him live in the recent promotions, I would give my left ovary to get a full-fledged rock solo from him. Maybe not quite that extreme, but something like that!

It sounds like it could be quite lucrative and worth all the hard work though! I admire anyone who takes on the study of law and all its forms. Enormous law books make me want to scamper up a chair, screaming and shaking my skirts.

True, true. On the one hand I think, well, the types of girls who would be influenced so strongly by media would probably be influenced by unsavory men anyhow even without it's help. One the other hand...we're all susceptible to media and its persuasiveness, plus why help the unsavory men in this world gain any footholds :P It reminds me of how when my niece was little, my sister was really strict about what she watched, not even letting her watch Disney princess movies, fearing that she'd get funny ideas in her head about Prince Charmings. I thought she was a bit much at the time, but as I get older, thinking about future kids, I can see the wisdom there xD

And yeah, still definitely brilliant. With GD, I think it's that he's one of those that is so off the wall and extreme that when he's good, it's glorious, but when he's bad, it's crash-burn-annihilateasmallvillage. Whether it's his fashion or his music, it's typically people love or people hate. We can just this behind us and look forward to his future stuff xD I really think I like him best when he's with TOP. Those two together are so good with such great chemistry. I definitely wouldn't mind another GD/TOP project.

Oh, dissertation -shudders- But lots of luck with that and stay focused!! Man, sometimes I miss school, and sometimes I really, really don't xD What is your major, btw?

The big thing that I'm loving about The Fierce Wife is that it is really not starting out how I assumed. There's interesting build up that is unique to what I've seen with these types of dramas. It's finished, but on dramafever they seem to only be releasing one episode a week. I kind of wish I'd waited as I can't wait to find out all the whats and hows DX

Aw. Oh well, sweet and down to earth can be sexy too<3 In dramas I find myself falling for the bad boy. Maybe because I know in fiction land, bad boys have hearts of gold. But in real life, they completely repel me xD Never have found them attractive. Good thing, since most of the time, they aren't bad boys with soft centers. They're just jerks :P

Holy crap, I didn't know when the Doctor was coming back and just looked up. HOLY CRAP, it's upon us O_O And then less than a month later is Merlin. ~waves farewell to that thing called "life"~

Your gif is so cute! After some stealthy stalking to find out what it is, that drama's on my planned list. I must say, to date, I haven't finished a TW drama yet, but I think that was because I'd only tried the teeny-bopper ones. I just started The Fierce Wife, though, and am loving it, so definitely getting more interest in them. The gorgeousness in your avi is also quite the juicy carrot...

Also, I so appreciate your honesty on GD's MV. Agree with most of it! I watered down my opinion with a pond because I'm chicken xD SO, so disappointing though. I had to go re-watch Knock Out a couple of times to cleanse my sense and remind myself of why I thought he was so great.

Lol, that "sp?" was all me and my cryptic shorthand xD I just meant I wasn't sure on the spelling of the words xD That's awesome of you to offer! But I'm actually studying French right now as well as trying to pick up as much Korean and Japanese as I can. If I add another, my brain will turn into alphabet soup |D

That happens a lot. Coaches being spread all over the globe. Athletes training here and there. I don't know if our gymnastics teams have ever had coaches that were American. Mostly Russian and Chinese xD I like to think that it helps make the Olympics a little more globalized and a little less nationalistic, but maybe I'm just optimistic xD And here in the states too it was mostly women bringing home medals. Be nice if it caused more interest and TV coverage of women's sports <3

Aha, yeah I seem to disagree often with the favorites, so definitely know the feeling of treading lightly.

I hope you like it! I dropped it after the first epi as well since it was a total turn off for me in so many ways. It does take a bit of powering through at first, but well worth it, imo. But then again, you may hate it, who knows, and that's perfectly fine xD

Omg, I'm so sorry for my scatterbrained-ness and late reply DX You now know one of my worst flaws, forgetting to respond to people :P Anyway, about the pictures, um, that would be seriously amazing! If it's not too much trouble and at your leisure<3

I used to know quite a few words and phrases many years ago when I was little (like 8 or 9) and studied some, but I've forgotten most :/ Besides, labas, all I remember is iki, ne, and nesuprantu (and, er, "sp?" applies to all). I'd obviously be using that last one a lot XD Oh! And is "kava" coffee? I think... Probably the most important word of all!

Yeah, I ended up not being able to watch near the amount I wanted to :/ So I'm not sure about what else she did. But I heard Lithuania got another gold in the Pentathlon! Women raking in the gold<3

Hi! :D I wanted to say I agree so much with your review on Oldboy. I just got done watching it after having meant to watch it for quite a while since its supposed to be a Korean film classic of sorts, and oh my God "conflicting feelings" is right. I wanted to write a review, but I had no idea what to say. Then I saw yours and was like, you know, that's pretty close to how I feel and put better than I could. I'll just let that one sit at the top xD That movie is so insane. Never thought I'd need a fluffy rom-com as badly as I do right now xD
