The ending was such a waste of time. From what I understand, the series varied so much from the novel that it's practically a different entity. Oh well, such is the life a BL series from Domundi TV, LMFAO!!
Well, it's only ep. 2 and the toxicity, stereotypes and tropes are off the chart. LOL! Let's not forget the bad…
I like your term better, messy. 😆 I have no doubt that this series is going to be very messy. It started with bad vibes, IMO. Also, the medical student/engineering student stuff has really played out (been overused). It's no longer about quality BLs, but making money off the ships. Thai BLs are really pushing the envelope with the ships, the pretty boys, the sex scenes, and cookie-cutter plots. BUT, if this what their audience wants, this is what the production companies sell.
Episode 2 even better than the first one. Don't understand the hate of some here. It's a really cute show and…

Other than the sex scenes and the cuteness of the leads, there was absolutely NOTHING redeeming about this series. Sorn was a lying manipulative jerk, arrogant a-hole, and mysoganistic control freak. He started out that way and the series did very little to change his character in the end. Jun was a naive, immature, trusting, careless, gullable dupe. The series also did little to help Jun be less of his traits.
I get it. There are those who thoroughly enjoy plots where naive young men are manipulated and banged out of the wazoo by older controlling a-holes. WHY? IDK. LOL!
I'm still trying to figure out "The My Stubborn" title. Just who was the "stubborn" one? Sorn? Jun? Or those of us who actually watched and enjoyed this sh*t and didn't have a problem with it? LMFAO!
The concept of this series is cringy, weird, and extremely awkward. If they don't tie in Ze Fang into this story fiarly soon, it will be a really tasteless series. Yes, I said tasteless. Otherwise, Hia Yuan and the grandfather would be falling in love with each other! Significant age-gap notwithstanding (which is already messed up), where would that leave Ze Fang (who orignally was in love with Hia Yuan)? Finally, if the grandfather and grandson soul's switch back, what does this mean for grandpa? He'll not only probably be dead of a ghost, but heart broken as well! This series is just so wrong on so many levels and the main characters being cute shouldn't gloss over that. I'm just smh!
This series was actually pretty good, although some posters don't agree. Yes, the story had some contrived scenes. But what drama doesn't. It also DIDN't have many (if any) tropes, stereotypes, and cliches. Most of all, it didn't have uni engineering and medical students! LMFAO!
I likes seeing Krist and Singto in adult roles where they can actually show what adult-like lgbtq+ love could be. Also, who couldn't just love the subtle references to their previous series together. All of this culminating into something that many of us (who are Krist/Singto fans) always wanted to see from Krist/Singto, really nice "ending" to a nearly 10 year chpater of this famous couple.
I originally said I would pass after viewing the trailer. Well, curiosity once again got the best of me. The episode was just as expected. It was light-hearted with the usual tropes, medical students and engineering students, the hubby-wifey routine, medical students perceived as being "fragile," "weakling" (I guess emulating the female role), etc., and the engineering students perceived as being "dominant" (emulating the alpha-male role), as well as an all too familiar plot.
I originally said I would pass, and now I'm sure of it. Other than the good-looking guys, I didn't see any indication of anything else. BUT it's just the first episode. It might get much better. However, I doubt it and may just binge-watch later after it's finished. LMFAO!!!!
