How many years is Minkyung and Seungyong age gap again? I can't remember. Very happy for them. I kind of already shipped them but didn't actually think they would date. That's crazy. A real plot twist no-one saw coming.
I didn't finish the first episode, yet. But I have a question. There must be a cultural difference. Why does it concern the workplace if the husband (the employe) is cheating on his wife?
i bet as more episodes come out, we'll be shown he's not hungry for power at all (atm from 4 episodes i watched,…
That's true. I should have phrased it differently. Instead of power I should have written crown. Just like you said. I agree I also think that he has his own deeper reasons and isn't actually power-hungry for power itself necessary. But whatever reason he has and how well intended it is, it still was very attractive to me that he said to her unapologetically and direct that he wants the crown (maybe in different words). Maybe later I will go back and rewatch how he said it. But I think you know what scene I mean. It was just a really cool moment.

you're most likely right but still him openly saying to her that he needs and wants power. No excuses. Nothing. Just I want it and I will get it attitude. Wow. Loved it.
I was looking forward to a new melodrama with a romantic storyline, but the heavy focus on mental illness and suicide makes it feel a bit too heavy for me. (I still like it and will finish it , I was just expecting for it to be a little different)
pick any random Kdrama romance and it pretty has same FL and ML and 2ML.
I never said it has a new romance plot or that the characters are any different to what kdramas usually do. But this one just has this vibe like it could easily have been released in 2015. It doesn't scream high budget Netflix/disney+ but like in the credits there would be a subway add. If you know, you know.
I am not hating on high budget kdramas either. They are great in their own right. I am just liking positively yours for exactly what it is.
maybe it's because I didn't read it first and don't know what changes they did or had any expectation but I just watched the first 3 episode and I enjoyed it. It's that kind of a drama I missed in the last couple of years.
They showed us pictures and videos of other couples hanging out with after the filming endet. But for Yoosik x HyunJi only what I believe was filmed in Japan (might be wrong) but just one date - did they end up not dating after choosing each other?

Don't skip the epilogue at the very end.
