I don't think I ever saw a main host be that open about her life. Kim Chan Mi is already one of my favorites hosts. I will watch whatever show she will be on in the future. Love her. Besides the fact that Joohoney is my bias from MonstaX I am surprised how much I liked him as a host. Especially this episode. Sometimes he is a bit too quick to support the men more than to understand the women but she calls him out on this quickly in a fun way (in earlier episodes). I really like the dynamic so much.

I never usually notice this stuff, but especially episode 2 was really bad. (I’ve only watched the first two so far.) The editing was horrible — and for me to notice that says a lot, because I normally couldn’t care less. But here it was so distracting and annoying. And the camera angles were just… so bad. There’s no way this wasn’t done by some nepo baby or someone with Vitamin B 😭

I never thought I would ever write a sentence like this but the tyranny was hilarious. The last 3-4 minutes were crazy. So much fun. I also kind of liked the scheming this recent episode on how to decide who is king. Also the way they were caught plotting😂🤣 it really could have be the biggest plot twist.

no for real. I keep thinking to myself that he is absolutely not qualified because all his advice if so unhelpful if not contra productive. I don't remember who it was but car the Garden gave someone a list of jokes and the person recognized how bad they were he started reading them to others (making fun of the jokes) because that is the only way they could ever be used. and car the garden seriously was complaining the he used all of them all at ones. I feel this is unfortunately the only time someone called him out for his horrible advice. I always feel so bad for those who get him as their mentor

I really don't like Hyuk-Joon but I kind of get why he started to lose interest in Hyun-seo. He was like 'I love traveling'. Instead of saying 'I don't have much experience', or 'didn't get the change to find a destination I like' or a simple 'I don't like it'. She instead went on and on about how it is so pointless to her and she never enjoyed any of it. I kind of understand that he was disappointed that he could not travel with her in their future (which is important and fun to him). But they seem to have a few other misalignments. He likes karaoke and hiking. she hates it and is very vocal about it. I think it is really annoying to date someone who hates everything that gives you joy. It seems their only common ground is PC rooms and anime. But to sum up their big problem is that she is a home body and he really likes to experience the world many different things. It could be frustrating for both sides to date each other.
That beeing said his ego boost went through the roof when he realized others were interested in him. He became so incredible annoying.
(no, I don't belief he started to lose interest in her only because others started to show interest in him, but it certainly was additional motivation to move on from her)
Edit: now that I think about it he loved bombed her too hard to switch on her this suddenly.
I don't love the idea that, after they made her write down the reasons why she didn't feel attracted to him, they still made her spend the night with him in the same bed and hold hands with him. I don't like his approach. He was way too forward, way too quickly, and it obviously made her uncomfortable at the beginning. Sure, you can argue that she eventually warmed up to him, but the whole concept was somewhat inconsiderate of her feelings. I love forced proximity in book with fictional character but here in real life ... idk it doesn't sit right with me, even if I understand what they were trying to achieve.
First episode was a bore. A snooze fest. Second is a little better but I am still struggling through it. I would have dropped it by now if not for the one comment that said the first two are bad and it will pick up from then on. And because I saw clips online of it and it looks fun. But seriously I don't remember ever being this bored by the first episode. I didn't mean to be so negative. I am still optimistic for the third episode. I just had to get it of my chest (and through the second episode).
Back in 2018, I deliberately skipped this one because the reviews weren’t great. But I just came across a short scene from it on TikTok, and now I’m seriously mad at myself for not giving it a chance sooner. It actually looks like exactly the kind of thing I was searching for back then. Definitely watching it this year — better late than never.
the plot in episode 9 is not plotting. Really wish they would have gone in another direction. the premise was good but a subplot or something is missing. The side characters are all too stereotypical.
