I can't claim to know anything about the democratic movement in South Korea. I have yet to really explore Korea's…
I actually created an account just to like this comment.... lol.
As a bystander, I have no personal comments except sentiments of regret that a highly anticipated production may be cancelled even before its release.

Granted, JTBC may not have handled the announcement intricately, but I do agree with the part that we shouldn't criticise something that is yet to be released based on "leaked" news, assumptions and speculations. It's not even out yet--how in the world would you know if it distorts history? It's a satirical black comedy about presidential elections--they could be writing about anything, and you don't know whether it'd be creating a positive or negative effect until you've watched it. JTBC should probably just publicly announce the first few episodes of the entire script for Snowdrop and just be judged for it. After all, what do they have to lose?

I've watched Mr Queen, and the creative writing in it makes everything right--I initially thought "Wow, Korea! You're producing subtle bl?!"... but it really isn't. It's overall really well-written and respects every bit of Korean culture.. in fact, it promotes Korean culture. Sad that it's now taken down. I'm actually looking forward to Snowdrop because it's another YG-involved production. Seems like YG is under attack though. Oh well.
