Just here to comment that Lee Know (Stray Kids member) had this playing in the background in the bubble video message he sent for his cat's birthday lol (happy birthday Soonie! so now I'm checking this out...
The timeline is a bit confusing for me but it still has an interesting storyline (did Koo Yeon Jun really die…
hello, watcher of the original AND the remake here. I think the Taiwanese original was clearer about Koo Yeon Jun's fate -- actually, Wang Quansheng (Taiwanese character name) committed suicide from being bullied for being gay. So his soul could have died (like how Minju's soul also disappeared after she was killed). Or even if his soul survived and was in the glass house (like how Minju then later Junhee was)... it's equally likely he just let the male lead take over the body, because he's given up on living anyway.
Wang's story is so sad. I can see why the Korean remake gave Koo a happier(?) ending, because at least he was able to die with the love of his life.
This is really hilarious! LOL They had a three-year contract marriage, but on the last day of the contract, the…
the plot/filming style is so old and cringe that it is actually funny if you take it as comedy LOL I'm watching it cus hearing the male lead's voice actor do those lines is the funniest thing of it all--
also 100% behind him faking the memory loss to make her stay.
found out about this drama after bingeing Lovely Swords Girl and falling in love with the 2nd brother character there (and then Dimple, and then Sweetest Secret and Be My Princess *ALL* for Xu Kaixin) realized he is better as the "perfect 2nd male lead" than he is as 1st just because the 1st male leads were usually written as terrible people
hopefully the writing for this drama holds up this time -- looking forward to falling in love with him all over again here.
oh my god I'm on ep 15 and I agree 100% on the 3rd ML syndrome. When FL lead thinks he's 1ML with the mask on and…
will do after I'm done with this one! nearing the end of the drama now and he's cute with the 2nd female lead too so clearly I'm not a sole stan of him and the female lead...
Okay, so one of the rarities of this drama for me is that I dote for the 3rd ML. It's technically a 3ML syndrome…
oh my god I'm on ep 15 and I agree 100% on the 3rd ML syndrome. When FL lead thinks he's 1ML with the mask on and goes to take it off and he says, "da sao" And her disappointment shows and she runs away
we knew ep 17 was going to be heartbreaking, based on history/novel. but the way they *made* our hearts break, and then mended our hearts later... impeccable. such beautiful story telling. making use of details from early on to hint at what could happen, then bringing it all back to a scene we knew was weird but couldn't pinpoint why at the time.
honestly, ep 17 was better than ep 16 because everything in ep 16 was just *as expected* I think this director is better at making ppl's hearts break than directing happy scenes... LOL
YOOO I just started the drama and it's the 2 big child actors playing young male female lead?! Park SiEun and Nam DaReum?! yoooo I'm down *just for this* They always make great dramas <3
Is this season 1 good as a standalone drama or do we need to watch season 2 as well?
they're kind of like separate chapters in Yumi's life, I think? If you don't want to continue watching after season 1 it does tie up the loose ends of this chapter pretty well.
For me I'm very curious what her next chapter will be like though; will be following.

I hope they're happy in the alternate universe.

My heart hurt so much for 3ML...
De Shu and the female lead's ex-fiance too

but whatever happened in the actual movie is still 100% cute!
Same character setting for Gala Zhang but he's 1st male lead :)
