For me, the romance pacing is good. We will get to see their romantic relationship explored - the triumphs, the good, & the bad (given that we still have 6 episodes left & the story is juggling through various things).

Personally, I don’t like romance where they confess & kiss-date in the last 3 or 2 episodes. Romance dramas tend to have the confession-dating happen towards the end & that’s it. The relationship isn’t shown in depth. It’s lazy romance writing. The most interesting part for me is seeing the progression of a romantic relationship & how the couple tackle external & internal forces (obstacles) together. I think that’s what the writer intended for EAW.

You can see YW didn’t have any sympathy for the guy during the final verdict. Only wanted to continue the case for HY sake(helping her seek some sort of self liberation). So it’s understandable why YW resonates with HY.

And yep the guy is garbage. If he wasn’t given that final verdict, he probably would’ve drop HY & seek another rich women at the volunteer centers given that he has a history of doing so. It reeks predatory behavior.

People with disability like HY can live a full-filling independent life with proper support so the mother was not right being controlling & overbearing.

The jury & final verdict was split on the situation but it was a fair call. It’s just really sad in the end.

Definitely one of the best kiss scene I’ve seen. And it’s not only the kiss scene that is good, it’s the build up to that kiss which makes it even more perfect. The ambience, the tone, the conversations, the back & forth between the two & taking their time. And the topic about consensual-mutual love made the kisses really impactful. ✨🥹🦋

Also, JH teaching YW how to kiss really cracks me up lol. A kiss scene I’ve watched that made me teary & laugh at the same time.🥹🤣🤣🤣
