Believe it or not, education system in certain parts of Asia is ridiculously competitive even starting from grade school. So it’s not an exaggeration from today’s episode. Kids really don’t leave school until late at night.
I like that this episode highlight that. You can also see the kids are from wealthier more affluent families, so imagine kids from a working class & low income family. It’s even more tough. I definitely understand Mr Farts plight lol. Either way he has to go to jail. And it’s good that he didn’t plead having a mental illness for a smaller sentence.
I think this is my first time wanting the second male lead to end up with the female lead, even though I don't…
JJ did say he was Ron & LXZ is Hermione lol. In the Harry Potter books & film, those characters ended up together. I’m not sure if that was intentional.

It sucks because Choi Dong Hoon is known for having consistent hits. His previous films are some of the highest…
True.
I believe this movie was almost 40 mill to produced in total. I think for a movie this large scale - for SK standard, in order to recuperate in profit, it has to make at least 100million $$$.
How is it forced though???🧐Normalizing & having LGBT characters in these types of dramas(that’s not small…
In my opinion- characters that are LGBTQ+ (in positive settings) doesn’t necessarily mean these dramas are portraying SK in a positive light.
That is the beauty of fiction- is that the more we placed LGBTQ+ characters at the forefront in fiction- we humanize them, with their own ambitions, love, and story in the mainstream. So when actual people-viewers who watches it, see LGBTQ+ people are human like everyone else. Because historically, LGBTQ+ community have been portray as the butt of the joke & distastefully in the media. This can be said about any marginalized groups.
Would I say it’s great rep? Depends but it’s necessary & a step somewhere.
For example, there’s was article of a person who watched this show (I believe it was on naver) had a negative perception of autistic people. But after watching this drama it literally open their eyes. They became socially aware-mindful of their behavior and attitude.
There was a moment, JH felt very conflicted when in episode 5 when she coached a witness on lying to the Court.…
I like what you said about it is not his place. I had a similar thought about this scene is that YW is conflicted with herself. JH sees that but he’s not going to say anything, because it’s regarding her work. It’s not his position to tell her how to do her job. It was a growing experience for her to learn on her own accord.
Also, His observation clearly shows he’s curious about her. He doesnt intrude in her space & let her feel what’s she’s feeling. Just as he said, the stories she tells helps him understand her.
