I don’t think she would want to tell anyone about what happened, not even JP, because she was trying to protect…
I totally agree. In the 7 years we didn't see, JP went through a lot, where he lost his entire fortune, had to study and probs was going through med school. He didn't have a second to breathe.

But so was the same situation for YR, where she was busy taking care of her family and cleaning up the mess of the stabbing incident.

So, it makes sense that they built a strong relationship that was not solely based on romance. Now that they are on their feet again, they have the luxury of considering it.

I think everything in the story is logical, but not very pretty. Like, they make decisions that are logical in the situation, but the audience doesn't agree with it because it does not fit their notion of a perfect kdrama where the leads are always smart and their decisions correct. The purpose of the drama is to show how people make some dumb decisions when they are young and that shapes their futures and personalities haha.

ur so right! The way they have swapped positions!!!
OH haha i wasn't evaluating whether one was more right than the other, but I think this is the perfect situation in which you get a taste of your own medicine.
There is no winning or losing side, but i think it was rly important for SHM to understand and receive the same heartbreak that XY did, so he keeps rethinking his actions and eventually understands what XY rly wants and needs. Kinda like self-reflection time.
Only after they BOTH understand how a healthy relationship works where there is communication, trust and love, will we get a satisfying ending of them being together.

Who is PSH? LCM?
PSH is Park Sung Hoon, the actor who received the offer before Lee Chae Min (LCM). That's what I think they are referring to :)

IKR! I thought it was so cute that he learnt to understand what she was saying. The writers did the ML justice by making him ACTUALLY listen. Love how he always tries to understand her rather than the other way around simply because his character is supposed to be overbearing and arrogant!

Loving it so far because there's no court politics or people genuinely thinking about the social ranks as you would see in historical dramas. Like they all respect each other, but are still close. Such a great and healthy dynamic :)

omg guys, I loved this drama so much but right now I'm super disappointed. Esp because that means a whole life she worked for years and years just disappeared. Tiantian's business, her and ZSY's success, her memories of uni, her family's financial situation, the C1 project and B&C motors, like everything is gone. That is the biggest disappointment for me ),:

Yea, Jinuk was quite a tragedy, I couldn't close my mouth for a full five mins after the entire train station scene ~ so many things happened all at once, and every one of them was an eye opener

i'm glad i read this and checked out the cast. i just have a bias opinion on female lead, i've seen her other…
I also think that the FL's acting is a little stiff. No hate, but she always has a constant sad vibe, like even when she's working? I suppose it's bc they want to show her being a lonely person, but that doesn't mean she has to always be sad but just be empty inside. I think the expression of this went a little wrong.

Everybody's talking about the leads, but my heart truly broke for Heung. He went above and beyond his capacity…
Totally agreed! Not SML syndrome bc i didn't think him and jae mi went very well together, but his character was so good, whilst growing out of being a somewhat pushover. He earned respect!

What's wrong with their romance in your opinion?
I think the longing stemmed from the fact that she was about to get married off to some rando who she'd never even had a conversation with, simply because he was a scholar. Normally, in the setting of the drama this wouldn't be a problem, but because they'd alr gone through some of the marriage procedures, and had good feelings with each other, expecting to get married, the disappointment and longing was more. I agree the marriage was a bit sudden, but I think the feelings were shown enough. If they dragged this get-married-not-get-married thing then that would be the worst

Guys I really like that there are complex characters who are probably morally grey because not only is it a realistic portrayal and pretty relevant to our current society, it also makes the drama wayyy more interesting.

Gossip sure, but it's surface level. When push comes to shove, women do help other women, but here's the thing.…
This is not a problem about women! It is about their personalities. I do not know where you are from, but from personal experience where I have spent my life, I have never been associated with another woman who would put down other women for no reason. Hope you find an environment like that soon too!

Zhang Yuan Ang: There's no need to balance the two because female independence and male charisma are not in opposition.…
Exactly! I'm glad they've started to lose the damsel-in-distress and ml comes to save the day tropes. It's so refreshing and realistic, bc in reality a truly charming partner is someone who is always at your back and ready to support, not in front to make you look dumb take over your spotlight!
