This was one of the best endings I have ever seen. Apart from the cliffhanger, most cdramas tend to end in political struggle, where the hero saves the day or they protect the emperor. Almost always action. Guardians of the Dafeng, though with a similar plot, showed that in the end, the ML was just a person with a strong need for justice. He was not immensely powerful, an ordinary person with many people who value him for who he is. The part with Chunzhou being brought justice was extremely painful and insanely satisfying. Never bawled like this in a fantasy action cdrama ever.
I enjoyed Season 2 as much as Season 1, though for different reasons. S1 was more tightly focused on the monster…
Absolutely right! I have so many questions. Like, where did the disabled boy go at the end? And why after saving her, did he leave her with the grandma, and with no contact with her? We also don't know exactly what happened to Seung Jo and his "mother." Did she actually die, or turn into the monster/creature?
They try to make Second Male Lead being understood. His reason for parting is so lame...I don't empathize. Sorry.
Yea, but I think it adds to the fact that he may not have loved her as a person, but rather he loved that she loved him and would follow him around. So he could not show her a side of him which she may not have idolised. But she was truly hurt by it.....
the 2ML is a n extreme selfish guy who lives in his own microcosmos / he has panic and anger disorder mental problems…
You're so right omg?? Like many people probably won't realise that irl if they are in the same situation. 2ML is basically a manipulator. And I don't think he even loves HJ, I think he just likes the idea of her loving him, following him around, being his supporter. Maybe at one point he did love her, but not now, idt.
This drama is INSANE! The DETAILS omg. Anyone else notice when JL is coming out of the prison, and the duke takes her hand, it is CALLOUSED?! They never pay attention to this sort of detail in cdramas, like OFC HES A SWORDSMAN, HIS HAND WILL BE CALLOUSED! So glad I watched this drama
Please recommend me more cdramas like this? I loved that the story focused on the romance, it was like watching…
Hey, have you watched the prequel "One and Only"? I watched these while they were airing, and both were beautiful in their own ways~ The prequel is amazing, but perhaps less popular. The leads are the same which is rare and amazing, but the story is so different :') It is a historical drama, but I would say to watch it because you see the parallels so clearly, it's like seeing the characters in their second life in this drama. My heart felt so full and this drama mended my soul after "One and Only." Watching these dramas is like watching a quiet but extraordinary love, and rater than just giddy happiness, it gives you contentment :)
I just feel this show voting and eliminations are so random. More than based on skills of individual, it is also…
I agree, but I also think that if they were to have eliminations, this is a good place to start, bc now we know that all the participants still remaining at this stage r worthy of debut. In many other survival shows, even though there r much more skilled ppl they get dropped only bc perhaps they do not appeal to the public as much. So I do not think that whoever gets eliminated here bc of their performance, it will be a huge loss to the future team.
OH MY GOD, pls this is like one of the only cdramas I have ever watched that hit the tears like this. Literally…
In my opinion, definitely watch it. I know some ppl will think that they don't want to go thru the heartbreak bc of drama characters, but that just goes to show how good the show is. You will be 100% invested
OH MY GOD, pls this is like one of the only cdramas I have ever watched that hit the tears like this. Literally…
YESSS, like other cdramas don't focus or give this much meaning to ppls deaths, and the relationships that they all created are not as strong, (or not portrayed as strongly) like this is was just PHENOMENAL
Hello, I just finished ep 37. I hope there are some tears left for what's there to come. I SOBBED
OH MY GOD, pls this is like one of the only cdramas I have ever watched that hit the tears like this. Literally all the last 5 eps r a recipe for sobbing, crying and throwing up. The OST is perfect for every scene, and if ur watching w subs for the music as well, u srsly cant recover from this within the next 365 days.
He is being petty and finding faults in her. He definitely is not happy when she asked about work stuff.
This is so true. You can't enjoy a good cdrama whilst thinking about the plot deeply. It's almost always makes no sense. It's like a guilty pleasure. You're there for the happy endings and sparkly rainbow poo
Girl can have dream, you dont have to sulk if she’s not all over you. Shiyan loosing some points from me for…
Even tho he didn't invite her to the ranch, it's somewhere he's been going for a long time, and it's sorta his place. E.g. if it was his parents' house and she's just good friends with his parents because of him, she would inform him that she's going, but he wouldn't need to tell her that he's going there. Also, I agree, that was probably her thought process in going to the ranch with her bestie only...just for relaxation that day

I think he just didn't want to suddenly spring her with a relationship when her new year's wish was all about her work. I think it's because it made him think that it wasn't with the mood, or her priorities. Especially in their relationship dynamic, he was not the one proactively acting most of the time. If you see right after her wish, he isn't angry, he's just thinking about whether she really wants to be in a relationship right now. Also, after when he sees her at the ranch, I think his anger stems from the fact that she didn't tell him or invite him to the ranch when it's the place where he first introduced her, like it's sorta his terrain, and it's ok if she goes herself, but he just wants to know, if that makes sense? But I think this further shows their dynamic and their characters a lot, because he is more used to being told about everything, where she is an independent woman who answers to no one, so they have to learn to deal with each other.
Poor Ki Chul. Should not have gone find Eui Jeong and Joon Mo. He should have taken off for Malaysia. Vengeance…
imo judging by his character so far, idt he was there to actually kill or harm them, WHJ's portrayal of character showed more hurt and betrayal than rage and anger. Maybe if he had done that and ran away, the feeling of betrayal would fester.
