True, Cdramas do historicals really well. Kdramas pale in comparison. Been watching more and more Cdramas lately.

Most Cdramas move slowly compared to Kdramas ( 16 episodes) but that is the beauty of it, I reckon. You get to know the characters better.

Honestly, I didn't like the cgi but the romance was unique and swoony. Not cringey at all, imo. But, to each his own. If you find most Cdramas fake then, better not watch? ( Shrugs shoulders)

Passed on heaps of highly rated Kdramas but this one... Is by far the best of the recent ones.

Slow development but you feel the underlying sexual tension/attraction. The guy kept helping her behind her back. And, if you're patient enough, you'll be rewarded with awesome fireworks from our otp.

So true. Many over the top situations, ott reactions, ott shouting match.

It's been 17 years sincs I've started and every Korean dramas seemslike deja vu. I am now laying low on Kdramas.
