What do you mean by "own women doesn’t want them"?
Yeah, I don't have anything against the actors and this project. But these projects are definitely more on the rise because of this very aspect. Television shapes public opinion through agenda-setting, framing issues, and visual storytelling. It dictates what topics people think about and how they feel about them. K-pop has transformed from a niche foreign import into a core part of Japan's mainstream pop culture, driven by massive concert attendance, localized releases, and major multi-day cultural events like KCON Japan. Japan remains South Korea’s largest overseas market for music and cultural content consumption. K-pop captures around 15-20% of Japan's mainstream music chart market share, completely overshadowing Western pop presence in the country. The explosive rise of K-pop and K-beauty has acted as a powerful form of soft power, fundamentally altering how young Japanese people perceive Koreans and actively encouraging cross-cultural dating and marriage. K-pop idols and K-drama leads have popularized the image of Korean men as highly romantic, attentive, and stylish. Similarly, K-beauty standards have made Korean aesthetics highly desirable among Japanese youth. I am just stating the obvious and it's a brilliant soft power move which actually does a lot in Asian cultures, this wouldn't as much as in the West even though in the West people also experienced a huge craze towards Korean men around 2018-2022 which has gone down now.
I think it’s needs improvements for a second season. One of my biggest issues was the flow. Everything was so…
Exactly, I thought it started off decently well and it grabs your attention but halfway through it was just unnecessary nonsense. The cast did their job pretty well. My biggest problem was the thing that you pointed out and the fact Ju Gang Chan has so much say in everything, I understand this show is adapted from a webtoon but the author and the directors should tweak the story when you make it a K-drama. Directors and producers need more creative freedom to make it more enjoyable for TV viewers. It was so weird that the pacing of the show was horrendous, everything felt slow yet at the same time the ending felt awfully rushed. It felt like after episode 8 they got red alarms going off that they need to end the show in two episodes.

Actually happening in Korea and many of my friends want nothing to do with Korean men, the dramas often create a great stereotype of them but the reality is completely different
It's hilarious how hard Koreans are trying to make their men in demand again because their own women doesn't want them so they need to go and use the Japan - Korea love romance route. This country is so doomed but please don't stop making rom com dramas and some shows Koreans make are epic
" This is exactly what you should apply to yourself, nobody asked for your opinion on a comment made not even on someone else's comment but on a news post. People are entitled to their opinion. How do you think a metric of likes and dislikes is created? Stop being a dumb snobbish donkey. But what can you expect from mouth breathing low lives ? hahahha "
this comment is applicable to you as well, smart ass LMAO

I forgot that people with low intellect can comment too on posts. I was stating my opinion. This show doesn't deserve a second season. A lot of people agree and a lot of people disagree, do know what that means? That means everyone has their own opinions that they share. But ofc for a donkey like yourself you can't even read right. I am not going to be watching the second season. I am quite positive it will be a flop but you can enjoy since you liked it so much. I don't care about that at all.
I don't have problem with people like or disliking things, that's what reviews and opinions are about. I just stated mine and the person I asked me to not watch it which obviously I won't.
But the point is, the show isn't good enough for a second season. By the same logic just because Business proposal was a great hit when it came out should it have a second season? No because it would unnecessarily drag the story out.
duty after school was split in two parts, it wasnt two seasons, and several dramas had great second season
mf going to every comment and defending this show as if she is being payed. People are giving their reviews this is what this site is for. Stop acting like a lunatic, its so disgustingly annoying to experience
It became really boring and both the leads dont really speak to me. Even though its Seo In-Guk in the lead role,…
I was struggling since episode 7 and was x2 speedin' the episodes. Just want to get over with it bc I don't like leaving shows when I invest more than 5 hours into them. Very disappointed in the vibe of the show later on though
the drama started really good and I was enjoying it, but after the episode 8 it became a bit boring 💔💔
It became really boring and both the leads dont really speak to me. Even though its Seo In-Guk in the lead role, I don't care about the two couples in the show.
The ML's ex looks *so* much like actress Chae Won Bin. It's actually insane—they could totally play sisters.
Are you blind? No they don't look alike at all, infact they are together in the show - " Sold out on you " they look nothing alike. Get your eyes checked
