i am torn. i agree with most of everything the author says, but as a person from USA i turned to k- and A-dramas to get away from the 'real' life story lines that American TV offers. i have come to love the silly, light hearted kdramas. I hope they dont move to replicate American dramas too much. American dramas are too self-important, trying so hard to press boundaries. Nevertheless :), I do love this one through 9 episodes as it still has some of the k-drama elements that i love and still succeeds as a serious story. As for specific storylines, I think i like the girl-girl relationship story best, not just for any noble LGBTQ+ reasons, but because it is an awesome relationship that develops beautifully with lots of emotion. I don't like to label people, its the main reason we get in trouble in the first place. To me, they are two people who love each other. The other support couples are good too which means there are not many dull moments. Ironically, most of the dull moments are with the main couple, because of the side relationships they have. I do love the female lead however, how she is conflicted throughout the whole drama, looking for that truly meaningful relationship, yet accepting the friends with benefit one as maybe the step to get there but finding out that it isn't and the pleasure it gives cannot sustain her. Can't wait until last episode to see how it turns out.
I like her, but i agree that she is the main cause...all because of one text that was not read...in usa, dad could fight for right to that child..mother can't just cut him off like that overall, i am enjoying the drama. there are issues with it, but there is with most of them.
i'll write a long post when finished...on episode 4...watching on prime and for episode 3, the subtitles were about 30 seconds beyond..made it extremely difficult to keep up. I hope no future episodes has this issue or i'll have to give up (or learn Japanese!). For the story, love the female lead..psychotic beauties are so awesome...cant wait for the rest...
