I don't understand why is this 8 it should be 9 at least. I rarely finish Chinese dramas because of various reasons like bad acting, annoying characters especially dumb female leads, messy plots, etc. But this has everything. Well, it's not perfect but it's amazing. The acting is on point, the characters are mature and smart. The plot is somewhat common but it'll still make you anticipate what would happen next. It was worth the wait.

Still my favorite of all time - Moon Embracing the Sun, Bridal Mask, and The Innocent Man.
