They should just debut as Yuehua's new boy group LOL tbh like watching season 2 of Produce, I think in terms of overall group popularity, it is actually better to just debut the popular trainees in your own company group as opposed to the group formed by Mnet. Like The Boyz now is so much more popular than ab6ix and cix in my opinion

Episode 3 and 4 have a lot of evil/unnecessary editing in my opinion. Not as fun to watch as some other Produce/Chuang/YWY shows but overall is okay

I haven't watched most of ep 5 yet (seen some clips), waiting for Viki subs because lowkey other subs don't make sense to me cuz they're lagging. But can someone explain how this 50% Korean votes and 50% Global voting works? Like how are the final number of votes calculated?

First off, a lot of people like the growth story line, for example, Guanlin in season 2 of Produce or Zhang Jiayuan in Chuang 2021 (many other cases I won't list). Second, while Yujin might not learn as fast as the other trainees, he does work really hard and on stage definitely stands out as much as the other more veteran trainees. I saw a post from someone that went to the first performance in person and they weren't a Han Yujin fan but said that he was really good and all the people around her (non Yujin fans) were voting for him by the end of the performance. Also from episode 4, I think Ollie has very much demonstrated that he can help his team and perform, I know he had 0 stars after the second evals, but from multiple sources I've heard that that was because he had covid and didn't even attend the evals. Also, he isn't even a singer, but he was more stable than A LOT of the other trainees. At the end of the day, yes you are voting for talented trainees, but you are also voting for those trainees that make you happy to see them and watching both Yujin and Ollie improve really brings a lot of joy! With Takuto and Da Eul idk what to say either LOL

Chuang 2021 was legendary! Honestly had the best vibes of almost all produce seasons I've watched (maybe Idol Producer can compete but yeah)

I think he was popular from the theme song performance ending fairy thing, but I agree many great trainees were eliminated this round :(

I haven't watched episode 5 yet, but I think my top 7 picks (I can't limit it to 6 idek how I am going to vote LOL) are as follows (in no particular order):
Han Yujin
Ollie
Zhang Hao
Kim Gyuvin
Sung Hanbin
Keita
Chen Kuan Jui

I know both Han Yujin and Ollie have a lot of areas to improve in, but I can see them becoming great idols in the future (also how they show up on the show is just so lovable, idk how you can dislike them http://xhslink.com/WwtiNn)! Sung Hanbin, Keita, and Zhang Hao are literally all the whole package and then Kim Gyuvin and Chen Kuan Jui LOL I just like them hahahaha (Chen Kuan Jui reminds me of Zhu Zhengting who was one of my favs on P101 S2 and my 1 pick for IP)
I think I've caved to Mnet's editing, definitely those who have made it to my list have gotten more screentime than others....I also know not everyone in this list will debut haha (like their is no way they will take 4 Yuehua trainees, I think even 3 is hard to say....I wish Yuehua would just debut them as a group of 8 after BP LOL) I also don't think my list is finalized...there's so many lovable trainees on the show and it was so hard even limiting it to 7 people!

But honestly speaking at the end of the day I am very okay with the current top 9. It is filled with a lot of very talented individuals (also a good divide between K and G which no offense did not happen in any other aspect of this show....idk the first performances must have been so demoralizing for the G trainees....but yeah)

I hate how they split up K and G groups so much, I want more Ollie + Yujin interactions hahaha I don't know if you have seen the fanmeeting clips, but the two are literally the cutest together!

I am sure their team wins too, like even if they weren't that good, with the popularity of their members, they're almost bound to win. But someone who was live at the show posted and said their performance was super good, so I am sure it's just mnet and their editing LOL

Also idk how true this is, but there are rumors that Ollie got covid during the Signal Song Test, so that is why he got demoted to 0 stars (wasn't able to participate in the test), I hope we can see a good performance by their team, in ep 3 I saw him teaching his team the dance!

I read a thread by someone who was at the live performance and she said Hui's group did really well (she said Hui's group, Zhang Hao's group, and Han Yujin's group did the best), so even with all the editing I am expecting a great performance by them. I just hope the voting difference isn't too bad between the groups, cuz K-team for Love Me Right definitely has more "popular" members, but I think the G-group did so well! But yessssss G-team Kill This Love was insaneeeee I feel like they could've debuted on the spot they were so good haha

I just wanted to say, can we stop hating on certain trainees. I think every single one of them worked hard during the show, I get that some people are believed to be royalty or such but it really isn't their fault as to which company they come from.

Anyways besides Caelan not making top 11 (I like him more every single episode and him and Lin Mo together are SO FUNNY haha and honestly he's such a wonderful kid ahhhhhh) I am quite satisfied, 5-11 are basically all in my top 11 picks haha. Lin Mo today was 超级帅 omg, I just wow he looked so good today haha~ (y'all should watch his solo fancam https://m.weibo.cn/6388039535/4629610459305951 我被辣到了) I will patiently wait for Zhang Xingte's OSTs (this boy's vocals are no joke and honestly I am so happy he made it so far with such small amount of screentime) and Yu Gengyin, I wanna say 你真的很好，希望在别的地方能发光，加油!
