Not sure if it's just because I'm not affected by the holocaust culturally but I wasn't offended at all when they used it in ep9.

I think the point of that statement is, even at their lowest point, when people took care of themselves, it helps them mentally and helps them survived.

Same thing with what happened with Bo Ra (although not the same level obvs), she was at her lowest point and she's just trying to get back up and build her self-esteem and if turning pretty willl make that happen for her, I'm all for it.
