I didn't know this actor before so I can't say if it's his acting style or not but I didn't notice any change…
No problem ! There are a lot of dramas I couldn't enjoy because I thought the main actor was too stiff so I totally get you. It's not bothering me in this one because the character warms up pretty quickly to the female character. He's still wearing a shell and doesn't talk that much but he's not as cold as he was in the first episode, so maybe you'll get to like him in the next episodes !
Episode 1 the main lead actor acting is very robotic and plain so far, I don’t know if that’s his acting style…
I didn't know this actor before so I can't say if it's his acting style or not but I didn't notice any change in the next episodes (I've only seen 10 episodes tho!). So if it bothered you a lot in the first episode, I fear you might not enjoy the rest of the drama
They changed a lot of elements (to the point where I don't even know how the drama will end...) Jieum's loved…
I must admit I don't remember the details very much but in her first life, her only family left was her sister, to which she was very close, and they were living together. One of them got badly sick and Jieum promised her they'll get reunited later. So she has to find her sister back to be able to break the spell (I won't tell who was her sister in the past because I think it was an interesting part of the webtoon so if you feel like reading it, it won't spoil everything about it!)
Question for web comic readers. What have they added/deleted in this drama?
They changed a lot of elements (to the point where I don't even know how the drama will end...) Jieum's loved ones don't get sick if she tells them about her secret. Mingi was indeed part of a previous life of Jieum's, but Seoha wasn't in it (he only appears in her 18th life and her current one). Seoha's mother never returns. Doyoon's background is a bit different because his father wasn't Seoha's driver and his mother had a restaurant. On top of those elements they've changed, a lot is underdeveloped too. For example, Seoha became friends with Doyoon in high school and was close to his family but you don't see that at all in the drama. His family pretty much took him in as Doyoon's brother.
I have a feeling even more parts will be changed in the last few episodes... Especially the reason why Jieum remembers her past lifes, I feel like they're not going to give the same explanation as the webtoon
Does this drama romanticize sasaengs and stalking? Sasaengs make the lives of celebrities a nightmare and it also…
The female lead isn't a sasaeng, if that what you're afraid of. She manages a fansite so she takes pictures of her favorite celebrity during events or when he's at the airport but she's very respectful and doesn't cross the line! I think this drama showed quite a fun side of fandoms and I hope you'll like as much as I did
It was indeed very unnecessary and I'm tired of those "jokes" in kdramas... Anyways people who don't get why it's offensive should be the ones to "grow up".
If you enjoy slice of life, you might like it! I wouldn't say it's great, but it wasn't bad at all. It was a light and enjoyable story with very interesting points! And it made every viewer want to clean their place haha
