also, i felt so upset and depressed reading the negative reviews after i finished the show and came on here because i was curious as to what other people thought. i'm a feminist, a staunch feminist, and i *understand* why people criticise yingtao's character, but i disagree! she is a strong person all on her own who is brave, faces her fears, and does anything she wants for the people she loves. i related to her a lot tbh (but i also related to jiang qiaoxi a lot too 😭😭)
