I didn't care for the ML, he came across as petty, selfish, and jealous and yet also the most boring dude in the world. I kept waiting for Dam to get upset with him but she just kept brushing it off as romantic or quickly forgiving him for cheating, lying to her face about it, and putting another person in danger... it's like the writers were trying to convince us they're in love so nothing else matters! Hyesun and Jaejin were unexpectedly my fave part of this drama though loooved them.
Love this movie. I can understand some saying the action's a bit cheesy, but I think that's part of its charm. It's over-the-top fun & I enjoyed it from start to finish. Highly recommend.
If they were having dreams based on who saved their lives like Woo Tak said (Woo Tak having dreams about Jae Chan, and Jae Chan about Hong Joo), then why did Hong Joo have dreams about random people at the beginning of the drama? Like the man who set himself on fire at the gas station. Did they ever explain why she was different?
I can't say I would recommend all of these to beginners, because some of them parody traditional kdramas in ways that a beginner would not recognize, and therefore could not enjoy as much. I usually rec Pinocchio to anyone just starting korean dramas- it's got romance, comedy, drama, and moves along at a nice pace (in my opinion, of course). From there it's easy to keep watching dramas as well, especially if they're interested in watching more dramas with LJS or PSH. Plus Pinocchio was by no means the best drama ever, so it's not like no drama after it will ever top it. It would be a shame for the very first drama someone watched to be their favorite thing ever, because then all the dramas after it just wouldn't live up to it. One of my friends said she regretted watching Healer as her first ever drama because she couldn't get over how much she liked it and it took the enjoyment out of a lot of shows that she tried to watch after it.
is please come back mister any good? the avg ep rating for the show is 4.5%
I really loved this drama! Super funny and refreshing, but also touching. I would recommend watching the first 2-3 episodes before deciding if it's for you or not :)
I agree completely with Doctor Stranger (although tbh even if they got together that drama wouldn't be worth watching). I wanna see a Shin Minah/Lee Seunggi reunion :)))
