I don't understand why many netizens and watchers are so angry that more episodes were added. I did not read the book, but I feel that the pace in the drama is still good (abit slow sometimes but still good). Xu Feng and Jin Mi didnt get much screentime in the middle parts but it was more to develop the hate RY have for the empress
I understand that netizens may be furious because some XF parts were given to RY instead (and I would love to see XF save JM more) but other that that I hope it doesnt affect the ratings of this drama because this is one of the best dramas I have watched this year
I was actually okay with Sui He because she play a rather big role in reviving Xu Feng (by hiding him and finding his body) but she got on my nerves when she tricked Xu Feng that Jin Mi wanted to kill her.
Urghhh Xu Feng is really annoying lately too. I really dont understand why he thinks JM is helping RY when it was so obvious JM was letting him escape

He is a main character in The Lost Tomb and has a mysterious identity. Basically he is related to Fo Ye (from Mystic Nine) and is also related to Zhang Ri Shan (from Sand Sea)
The Mystic Nine is the prequel to everything (both Lost Tomb + Sand Sea). It is set in the 1930s before WW2. Basically it is the story of 9 families that are skilled in tomb raiding.
Wu Xie's grandfather is part of the 9 families (he is the fifth family) but there isnt much detail about Wu Xie's family. Instead it is more about the Fo Ye (1st family) who discovers a tomb that contains sth that even the Japanese is interested in.
The Lost Tomb takes place in modern-day China. The focus is on Wu Xie (who doesnt know a single thing abt tomb raiding) who inherited his grandfather's diary. He then asks his 3rd uncle for help and they go on a tomb raiding journey with the help of this mysterious guy called Zhang Qi Lin.
The Lost Tomb is supposed to have 8 seasons and only one season is out so there are still many many unanswered questions.
Sand Sea takes place many years after the ending of Lost Tomb, when Wu Xie is now a tomb raiding expert and it is a whole separate story.
In Summary, all 3 dramas have totally different plots, the characters are the same and from what I have seen in Sand Sea, there is a huge emphasize in the 9 gates which is why I recommend to watch The Mystic Nine before the sand sea
Oh no, I am okay that they changed the cast because Hou MIng Hao is quite the visual. BUT I really hated Zhang Bo Yu's role in Candle In The Tomb; Mu Ye Gui Shi. I dropped it because of that character I am sure he is going to play PangZi in this show and I am really praying that he wont be annoying because I really really loved season 1
I saw it coming but I really didnt want Shanhai to die. I seriously wanted Shanhai & Bicheng to be tgt and Xiaonan & ChenShen. Also although he is the series antagonist, I was actually sad that Bi Zhongliang died, I really liked the friendship btw him and ChenShen, I was hoping that ZhongLiang will defer and join the communist but it didnt happen :(
I just want to say to those hating the female lead I can understand why but she gets better and without her clumsiness, the drama will be like 2 eps lol

Mr Lawyer is really annoying though.
I think future episodes will have a less depressing vibe to it and Seohyun's acting really improved!!!
