So I ended up catching up on PondPhu's previous series because of this series and in my humble opinion, I think this series may be their best series thus far. Everything hits the right spot in terms of acting, plot, script, chemistry and even their lines. And also, I love how Phuwin finally has a role that is so different from his previous ones - quick to anger/spoilt (sometimes rich) boy- we get to see a different and mature side of his character. That said, we are only left with two eps so I hope it will end well

is the lakorn they showed in the series a real lakorn or just created for the series?

they will be filming magic lover next year first and also need to wait for kong to graduate uni before starting workshops for unknown lover. Honestly, if it wasn't a iqiyi original series, I'm not even sure if it'll come out 2027 (they need big funding as it will have to be filmed in NYC). But since now iqiyi is part of it, I'm sure they will be able to speed things up abit more!

I just found out that thomas and por already knew each other way before since young, whoever that casted them as brothers deserves an award for it cos they really look like siblings!

To me, the issues between Kim and Mon are resolved too superficially in each episode. While it’s clear they’re both flawed—Kim with his insecurities and Mon with his tendency to want things his way—their conflicts start to feel repetitive. There’s little sense of growth in their relationship. It’s frustrating because the writer clearly knows how to develop a compelling storyline, as seen with Kit and Shane. So why not give Kim and Mon the same depth? My guess is that not much thought went into how Kim and Mon are written. I read somewhere that Kimmon didn’t have much of a storyline in the novel, so perhaps the writers added more for the drama.

Yes but my perspective is that Kim knows that Mon gets upset easily so he chooses to lie in order to please him. It's kind of two way thing.

Kimmon's relationship is so unstable.. Mon is angry at Kim every episode and that further fuels Kim's insecurity which makes him lie to please Mon. I guess that reflects teenagers and their temperament but at some point it becomes tiresome to watch as an audience :(

I'm quite shocked to see Firstone not choosing anyone, especially since I'm already aware that he's now paired with Tle (and honestly, I do see more chemistry between them). Was their pairing ever formally announced, or was it just revealed through pilot trailers? I'm really curious what led Firstone to ultimately choose Tle.

So a spiral down into your sky the series led me to this reality show. Even though you could tell it is scripted, it was still fun to see how they couple up! Thomaskong really had that natural chemistry since day 1! Their obvious attraction to each other and constant flirting made them so fun to watch on and off screen. Kengnamping surprised me with both their talents! Definitely looking forward to their upcoming series, Khemjira and Magic lover (together with TMK). For sure they will deliver.

No hate to Shane and I totally understand that he's not used to expressing love maybe because he comes from a dysfunctional family and he's not used to receiving love too BUT if my bf were to peel a prawn for me, I will definitely not reject him because I don't want my bf to feel/look bad especially in front of my friends. idk but him rejecting the food from Kit was kinda mean imo

Yes, I'm glad someone agrees with me! There's just something lacking in the script that doesn't make me think about what's gonna happen next? Right now, it's just a watch and leave it aside until Sunday again kind of show. The plot right now is just ok tutoring, study tgt, school trip, study for midterm, another trip and next ep is just going to the arcade? It feels kinda predictable at this point. Don't get me wrong, I get that they are students and that's the whole point of being a student but it just feels like nothing much is happening even though there are things going on :/ The lack of discussion (despite having viewers) in mdl, and other fan spaces like twt just kinda proves my point about the lack of a meaty plot. If I may be honest, I think Kimmon peaked at ep 3 and kinda went down after that even with all the lovey dovey scenes.

We are halfway through the series now!

As much as I love Kimmon, their story feels a bit too fast-paced for me. Aside from Kim’s mom, there’s not a whole lot happening plot-wise. I personally wish they had stretched out the crush/yearning a bit longer—like at least until episode 4 or 5—before getting them together. And we don’t get much info into Kim’s background or those “failed” confessions they mentioned. Chokun and Aston have great chemistry, so it’s kind of a shame their storyline isn’t more developed.

I’m really enjoying how Kitshane’s arc is written. Their choices make sense and feel true to their characters, and Kit is just a walking green forest. That said… I might be in the minority here, but I’m not really feeling the chemistry between Kitshane (or Lukemick in general). I really want to like them, but the emotional spark just isn’t landing for me, sadly..

NutTan absolutely own every scene they’re in and I just know Mon is secretly rooting for them too, cos why would he ask Nut out of all the other teachers to accompany them for the trip??? (Unless the other teachers are attached and nobody else works on the weekends that is 😅)

But the ones I’m most curious about are Pertar! They’re the perfect “sunshine and sunshine protector” duo and their dynamic is hilarious. Every episode I’m just waiting for something to happen between them. I have a feeling theirs will be a slowwww burn (if it even becomes romantic), but I’m totally here for it!!
