The way Aston is hard carrying the promo of this show is crazy work to me. Idk about any of these boys but I remember…
The way you said one man PR team sounds so funny yet sad at the same time 😠Paul has also been pretty active as well! He did a stopclock (chokunaston ost) challenge, also a mini vlog with the cast and frequently repost fan's tweets too! I see Luke doing some live here and there, sometimes with the other casts. But definitely when it comes to the PR MVP, nobody can beat Aston, the PR manager 😂
if you like light hearted comedy bls then this is for you! No major conflicts (as of now), no evil characters, no frustrating plots because of miscommunication, just simply boys (the young and not so young) falling in love like the drama name haha!
Depends on what vibes you're looking for! If you're looking for high school bls then definitely its similar minus the uniform aspect. But if you're looking for music drama, then it's not the same but our second couple did recently release their own ost and I predict more osts from the leads to come!
Loving this series so far but also was thinking this series could benefit from perfect 10 liner's format of having specific episodes for each couple since there's so many of them yet so little screentime for some of them!
Really enjoyed this drama and especially like how each character was given a backstory that tells us about their motivation for their actions! The biggest plot twist for me was probably Kamii being Tomoya's childhood friend lol. That being said, I don't understand why Komugi's father hid the fact that he was the one who brought the baby to the 2nd floor? Also, what exactly is Akazawa hiding? Does he already know of his wife's affair and Komugi's real mother?
I started the drama cos I thought all the eps are already out so I binge through 9 eps but unfortunately the plot went down in the last eps and I'm not even sure if I wanna continue it when all the eps are out..
I stared this survival show as I came across a special stage by 9x9 from the finale and got curious about this…
I feel that they could have been more clear about how the elimination works or the criteria for debut. While I really like how they are fair in having three criteria for debut (fan's choice, trainee's choice and pd's choice), it should have been announced from the start of the show. Also, I was honestly puzzled by how no one ended up getting eliminated in the first round. It felt like an anticlimax, making the elimination seem pointless. But it was also quite hilarious to see Tor's confused face haha
But I still really enjoyed the show and am happy with the debut line.
I stared this survival show as I came across a special stage by 9x9 from the finale and got curious about this show as I really like idol survival shows. I went into it without much expectations but right from the first ep, I was amazed by the quality of the show itself and the selection of the trainees. I was pretty impressed that most of these trainees already have some basic skills whether in singing, dancing or rapping so we didn't have to see them struggling through the episodes. I also found myself agreeing to what the trainers feedback to the trainees and I truly think it's the harmonious and nurturing environment that can help them to reach their potential. Also, plus point for not having evil editing. My picks were Khunpol, Nex, Phutatchai, Alan, and Alex. Though not all of them made it, but I'm still glad everyone still gets to debut, just in different groups.
But if I were to really nitpick on anything, it would be their elimination/debut system (in spoiler)
I just started watching this and I must say I'm really impressed with the acting especially from the leads. I already know Sky from my ambulance, side by side previously, and he has always been good but with Nani, I never thought much about his acting before but he really blew me away here.
Even though it had its good moments, this version is probably my least favourite among the remakes.
Disclaimer that I have not read the manga and my opinions are only based from watching love in tokyo and playful kiss.
It's a shame they switch up and changed some of the plot and everything was squeezed to just 9 episodes. Some of the plot (which was considered significant moments in other versions) were either rushed through or non-existent (i.e. graduation party kiss, christmas etc) there were a lot more unnecessary (and annoying) characters/scenes - class A students and the teachers (especially!) and also kotoko's dad still being in love with naoki's mum(???) was kinda weird (imo) It's also a pity that Kin-chan's role was significantly reduced to mostly comedy effect as he was the main catalyst to Naoki realising his love for Kotoko. Where is the jealous Naoki here :(
But still giving its credit due, it's still successful in its time and paved way for the following remakes in years to come. The visuals of the cast in this drama is probably one of the better ones too.
