There is a department called Okura at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. Detectives in Okura take on old, unsolved cases which are in a shelved state. The Okura department is mocked by the other detectives and described as a garbage dump or a detective's graveyard. The members of Okura are branded as incompetent outcasts. Detective Hidaka Senju and Detective Fuwa Toshiki belong to Okura, along with several other detectives who all have strong personalities. Senju experienced losing a colleague in a serial murder case that targeted police officers 10 years ago. He continues working on that case. Toshiki is smart and argumentative. He memorizes all the unsolved cases in his head. He is strongly committed to seeking justice. He has a specific reason why he was transferred to Okura. They begin to investigate an unsolved case based on only a few clues that had been found at that time, but some new information had been recently provided. Good crime thriller
GOOD THRILLER involving old unsolved (COLD) cases.(Roughly, One case per episode)
INITIALLY a bit ODD and WEIRD, whether it be the plot or the acting, odd to the extent that some may find it DIFFICULT to CONTINUE WATCHING.
But DON'T DROP IT (can watch it once😂)
Believe me, as the episodes progress, it gets very INTERESTING, clarifying all the weirdness n suspense created in initial episodes 👌🏻
I LOVED the DUO, Senju n Toshiki as partners in investigation 😍
Both the actors are handsome, haha🤭
Their Bromance is cool 😄
I want more of them😍
Finally in the end, Our Cold lil Prince, Toshiki learnt EMPATHY bcz of our Crazy Cool Kind Knight, Senju san! 😀
Initially Senju looks silly but in later eps, u can see the variation in him, who is actually after something big but just acts goofy initially. That suspense is WELL WRITTEN.
The complicated intertwining of all the cases that they solve with a lot of TWISTS where the most unexpected people turn out to be something else, everything is WELL WRITTEN.
But there should be SOME MORE EXPLANATIONS to all the crimes happening, about the organisation, about the actual "OKURA" from a bigger picture.
And so in the end, there's potential for a SEQUEL 👏🏻👌🏻
There should be ONE to explain a lot of things that are left out 🤷🏻♀️😂
Certo, il montaggio giapponese è sempre quel che è: mediocre.
Ma a mano a che la storia procede ed emerge il complotto di "giochiamo a nascondino", la faccenda si complica e personalmente l'ho trovata un po' troppo surreale. Le ultime due puntate sono state uno strazio: il voler sorprendere a tutti i costi con rivelazioni e colpi di scena mi ha fatto arrabbiare, per questo se fino ad allora avevo dato un 8.5 ho calato ad 8.
Insomma: fino a metà serie lo riguarderei, dopo no.
Il finale, comunista, resta aperto ad una eventuale seconda stagione.
