No problemπ We all have our cultural differences so of course, it's impossible to understand understand each…
Thank you for trying to understand from our perspective! β€οΈ I would really want PP to fight their parents till the end as well, but I really do understand the decision they made. Honoring your parents is very important thing in our culture. The adults are not always right but respecting them is very important, and their words hold a lot of weight.. It sucks but there's nothing we can do about it. Throughout the EP, we can see that Pran misses his mum a lot, so we can assume they are a close-knitted family. Pran also holds a huge sense of responsibility in not wanting to disappoint his parents. And Pat probably sensed it, so he's letting him go.
I was washing the dishes and was mulling over their progression from fighting for each other in ep 10 to acceptance…
You said it beautifully. It wasn't really a break up per say, but more of a see you later when we grow older and have the ability to have a future together. They did not not put up a fight as well, running away tgt was clearly a fight against their parents, but there was no future in it. I think the conversation with Junior's mother highlighted it as well - they wanted to stay at the fun place, but there's no future (jobs and education) in that place. Yes, they could have gone back home and fight it out together, but what can come out of it? They have nothing to prove, they aren't capable enough, just love isn't enough. If it's something that can be solved by love alone, then the fight wouldn't have carried on for so long. I think they both recognized that as well which was why it became a mutual separation.
