omg i love ep 6 so much too 😭 how can pran opening up to pat be considered as filler ep 😭 i know there are people who think that the bet lame and unnecessary (cos they alr kissed in ep5) but I feel that it is necessary in pran’s case. We all know how hard it is for Pran to open up. I see the bet as like parallel to how pran got architecture and engineering gang to build bus stop through competition. Same thing Pat gets pran to open up through competing. Furthermore, competing is something they are both so used to doing. Its this comfort zone for them with boundaries on how it would be like for them to date. Plus, its fun for us to watch too. And omg, I too can go on and on abt the beach scene 😭 its the first time they actually talked about their family rivalry and their feelings for each other. The gaze, the touch, the silence. No words were exchanged but a million words were spoken 😭❤️ I think we should know by now we can write endless essays about the whole of bbs 🥲

(Hang on let me get some receipts) the youtube counts usually reaches 1M within 12-36 hours, which is pretty fast! It's also the #1 top drama viewed in WETV thai and has a rating of 9.1 there. In China, it's also doing very well, ohm and nanon (bbs leads) CP chaohua (topic board) fans has been increasing steadily (almost 90K atm). They have even secured 2 magazine interviews in China! China website douban has rated the drama 9.3 which is very high considering that its a foreign film and the chinese are usually quite brutal with ratings. Recently, they also ranked #2 series in Brazil right after young royals which is impressive for an asian series to make it in nomination list and even more so in top 10 (squid game is the other asian drama that made it at #7) Overall, Bad buddy is doing really well and receiving lots of love worldwide. I really hope that Bad Buddy will really be that classic drama which everyone will rmb for a long time. Like even if new dramas/bls comes up, we will still be able to look back and say "dang, bad buddy was phenomenal, the masterpiece and classic". I also hope that it will be THAT drama that the bl/ent industry will reference to when they want to make a new production.

I would also like to add on, maybe something not so relevant, but even in EP5 the jealousy that Pat has with Wai was not simply cos Wai is close with Pran but also because Wai gets to do everything with Pran openly and not hiding. He can openly be friends with Pran, have dinner at Pran's house, play their song tgt in public (even when Pran said he wrote the song with a HS friend, he didn't even name Pat). There's so many layers within that jealousy which became the angst in EP5. But that angst didn't prolonged once Pat finds out that Pran loves him too. Even in EP9 when Pran was so concerned with Wai, Pat did not make it out to be a big jealousy thing because he is alr stable in their r/s. They've always been each other's focus and nothing else matters. The really good thing abt bad buddy is they don't prolonged an issue also. Like the jealousy part was done with quick.
