I'd really like to know more about our chef nim.. a character study, like what made him murder all those people…
I've had a hunch for a long time that the chef's prosopagnosia has a part to play. Since he can't recognise faces, he labels his kills instead with a barcode that only he recognises.
As for why he even kills these people, I don't have a theory but I'm hoping for a bit more that just a "he's a sociopath" type of answer. Not keeping my hopes up though...

That still doesn't make sense to me... Chorim knows that Dr Chun and the chef are friends, so it shouldn't come as any surprise that the chef is in possession of a letter or other items from Dr Chun, would it? Why would she open that letter in particular?
