The kimono is very restrictive in terms of movement. So many layers, wrapping and all that. It's pretty tight and heavy, too. Going to the toilet wearing a kimono is also a challenge. Lol.
Started this drama, thinking the premise is quite interesting. Also, I have a girl crush on Haruna (never mind her acting skills) and Hokuto is growing on me. Episode 1 was just alright. But after episode 2... just wtf?? So many things going on that don't make any sense at all!
I say watch and see for yourself. I hate love triangles with a passion, but this one didn't really bother me. It's the other things that disappointed me. Overall, though, I still enjoyed the series. Wakana was lovely as Saionji. The duo of Hokuto and Ema was too adorable.
Actually, the love triangle should be the least of everyone's worries. The flow of the story and how other elements were handled were what I found really faulty. The ending was especially all over the place, and non-Japanese viewers will find some references really weird.

Yup. I was pretty angry that she lied about her dad moving in. I'd understand the first reason better and the ML knew if it's for family, then it should come first. But then the hospital conversation happened and he found out the truth. It's cruel TBH and I'm also frustrated. I can't even chalk it up to drawing boundaries coz it was so sudden and impulsive. Although those are qualities of the FL, too.

My gripe, however, is how the ML already suggested to leave many times in the past, but the FL kept wanting them to stay! Then now she realizes her deeper feelings, she suddenly wants them to move out.

I wouldn't say the love triangle ruined it. In fact, this show's unique approach to the conventional love triangle made it even more interesting. The barely-there rivalry and mutual respect they have towards each other... that's not something you see often in shows.
One more episode. I'll finish it anyway.
